Thanks to a response from the manager of Zach's I was able to try the Road Kill mixed grill at their sister venue the Newtown. I had not been here for a very long time. If you can get there while this promotion is running, "do yourself a favour"!!! It was incredible: kangaroo steak, buffalo patty, emu sausages, boar bacon and a duck egg. YUMMO!!!!! All for the fantastic price of $19.90. The service was just wonderful. You couldn't ask for a better venue for dinner. We are delighted to receive such an excellent review from you madonnaj2015! Thank you for your feedback, we're glad to hear that you enjoyed our Roadkill Mixed Grill promotion. We will be sure to pass your kind words onto the whole team. Thank you for taking the time to write your review, we hope that we can count on serving you again soon!

Nice place for some dinner. I had the Caesar salad with chicken which was actually a bit disappointing. Friendly service

After moving back to Toowoomba after 10 years away we returned to our old favourite "the cow" for lunch on a cold and wet Sunday. A shadow of its former self. Instantly hit with the smell of stale beer in not just the bar area but also the entire back dining area. We were presented with menus that had food stains inside the laminated pages. The abrupt waitress cam to our table for us to ask some questions about the menu then left before we could place our drinks order which we clearly said we wanted to do. For 10 minutes we tried to get her attention with no luck. There was only one other group dining so she was not busy however completely focused on her chat with a friend. We just sat and waited. In the interim my husband went to the bathroom and cane back shocked that they were dirty with no paper towels and broken hand driers. We also witnesses a kitchen staff member wipe his nose with his hands as you can see clearly across the kitchen pass from dining room. At this point as a group we decided to leave. This used to be a great hotel and part of our social lives with friends and family. Sad to say but we wont be back.

A multi level entertaining venue, with an specialise steak restaurant on the bottom floor, Pool Hall, Dance-floor and function spaces on the second level. Restaurant Amazing local steaks, sizzled to perfection on an volcanic stone, combine with hearty pub
Date night out with hubby. Awesome food, awesome service, fantastic atmosphere and the white chocolate and strawberry spring rolls for dessert where a la carte quality! Simply sensational. Could not take this hotel on a thing. Great value for money. The owner should be very, very proud of his wonderful staff! Will be coming back again!!!!

Welcome to the Farmers Arms Tavern, Arguably the oldest licensed hotel in Queensland. Home of great food and outstanding " Country style" hospitality
Very large venue. Unfortunately the lady took an eternity to take our orders and then she forgot them and had to come out and retake them. Disrupts the dynamic when you spend half your time waiting in line to place an order. We are sorry to hear about your experience Oscar. Thank you for your feedback an we will attend to this matter.

Arrived 3 minutes before the kitchen closed on Thursday so was grateful we were still able to order. Ordered an entree of 3 oysters and waited approximately 50 minutes for our mains to arrive. As we were the only custmers waiting it was obvious the bell in the kitchen was for delivery of our meals however it rang 3 times while the waiter continued to have a casual chat with man at the bar. In the end I stood up with intention to collect my own meal and the waiter responded with heading directly to retrieve and deliver the meals. Ordered a 200g steak medium rare with prawn toppers and pepper gravey on the side. Received steak medium/well done steak. Asked for a replacement steak which took 25mins to arrive with gravy all over it. Not very tender and struggled to make 200grams in size. My partner ordered the $45 seafood platter for one. The bugs were over cooked, dry and chewy. The mussels were shriveled and crusty. Have eaten here several times before and quality has declined each time. No intention on returning any time soon, if at all. Premium price is charged for meals so expect quality food and premium service.Thank you for taking the time to provide us with you review. We take all feedback seriously and are very disappointed to read about your experience with us. We are now under new management, chefs & staffing and would love the opportunity for you to contact us directly on 07 4637 6800 or email [email protected] to welcome you back to Seasons Restaurant with a special offer to try our new menu that starts from next week. We hope to hear from you soon. Warm Regards, Management
