Went on 2 consecutive nights for dinner when we were staying in a Launceston.Have used this chain in other parts of Australia but this is our first visit to Tasmania. We had a lovely meal, excellent prime rib, cooked exactly as requested, my husband had the St Louis ribs, very thick and lots of meat. Waitress was lovely, introduced herself right away, her name I believe was Flash, and she remained very attentive through. As we had enjoyed it we decided to return the next night and order different. I ordered the slow braised beef which was excellent and my husband ordered the baby back ribs, cooked to perfection just dropping off the bone. Overall good food and service.

Visited this restaurant as part of a party of 4 on a Friday night. Booked weeks in advance as heard this restaurant can be difficult to get into it at short notice. The restaurant the night we dined. Two of us on the table ordered 200g eye fillet cooked medium with truffle bernaise sauce for $49 each and found it to be very tender and excellent to eat. One of the other diners ordered rump and one ordered scotch fillet, both were over $50 and both were found to be very tough even though cooked medium as well. So if you prefer your steak tender definitely choose the Cape Grim eye fillet. Vanilla Creme brûlée for dessert was lovely. Service was good.
