We found this little gem by chance driving past and were taken by the idyllic site. Came for dinner at our last night and had an amazing time! Apart from the excellent food and drink the atmosphere was lovely and the staff friendly and very attentive - Nothing was too much trouble! Highly recommend! Fabulous music too!!

Throughout the evening we were bar one guy outside the only customers. The table service from the owner was outstanding throughout & it almost felt like we were in their family home & not a restaurant. The menu choices & prices were reasonable. I ordered the salmon main with a mixed meat tapas starter & my partner ordered chicken wings for starters & chicken escalope main. My partner was surprised at how small the chicken wings were, probably the smallest pieces heâs had anywhere but he said that they did taste really nice, my starter was nice but looked identical to a very small Cornish pasty. When our main course arrived at the table truthfully we were very disappointed although all of the food was hot & cooked to perfection there was nothing on the plate other than the meat and very few fried potato cubes. It lacked sauce & it lacked veg, some green beans & a mushroom sauce or a salad garnish would have completely transformed the plates. There were no condiments to be seen & a translation issue so we were left with the sauceless dry plates that we were served. We did have a nice evening though in a nice setting overlooking the small marina.

My partner and I had the lunch menu here a few days ago.It was â¬11.50 for 4 courses including drinks and bread. The portions were substantial and the service cheerful and prompt. I had a meat dish cooked on the fire and she fish.We had to sit inside but usually there are tables out in the street. This was the fourth or fifth time we have eaten here, and we have never been disappointed.
