Reviews on Steakhouse food in Dongguan, Guangdong, China. Dongguan is a prefecture-level city in central Guangdong Province of South China. An important industrial city in the Pearl River Delta, Dongguan borders the provincial capital of Guangzhou to the north, Huizhou to the northeast, Shenzhen to the south, and the Pearl River to the west. It is part of the Pearl River Delta megacity with more than 44.78 million inhabitants at the 2010 census spread over nine municipalities (including Macao) across an area of 17,573 square kilometres (6,785 sq mi). Dongguan's city administration is considered especially progressive in seeking foreign direct investment. Dongguan ranks behind only Shenzhen, Shanghai and Suzhou in exports among Chinese cities, with $65.54 billion in shipments. It is also home to one of the world's largest, though largely empty, shopping malls, the New South China Mall. Although the city is geographically and thus culturally Cantonese in the Weitou form and as well as culturally Hakka in the prefectures of Fenggang and Qingxi, the majority of the modern-day population speaks Mandarin due to the large influx of economic migrants from other parts of China.

Angus Too is a kind of meeting point for laway shoe businessIt has a nice style and fresh environment.Food is great, Caesar Salad is the best in town and steak is specialy good.Staff for most restaurants in area is always an issue since they change frequently and waiters usually have scarce experience. But it is a restaurant worth to use
I have been coming 4 times a year to DG since 1993.My sister and family has a famous cheesery in Tuscany (Corzano e Paterno) that has been featured on Bourdain/Oliver/Nigella etc.My business partner and I just came back from a lovely dinner in the newly developed food district by the Dyna City mall. Superior service from Elena and Amanda. Enzo prepared a lovely lamb chop for us and picked out a special Piedmonte red for our dinner.Hoping that Enzo and Stephanie can come visit our farm in Tuscany soon. We need help on milking those 700 sheep! Will come back next time in DG
The restaurant contains Eurpoen and Japanese culture, brings out delicious cuisine from all over the world, We are devoted to promote specialty coffee and Japanese dessert. Giving all to bring you the best dining experience.
They were having a soft opening when we stopped in but the place was very crowded with Chinese customers already. We were the only foreigners. The menu is hard to categorize, with a mix of East and West. I had a cream of mushroom soup and a citrus salad and my wife and my wife tried the Singaporean laksa. Everything was very good and our waitress spoke good English (though I'm pretty sure she was the only one of the staff that night who did). The service was fine even though it took a little while for the food to come -- I chalked that up to the busy-ness and it let us know the food was prepared fresh. We had a chocolate lava cake dessert that was yummy.
An American Grateful Dead themed restaurant. High quality artisan sandwiches, homemade appitizers, and imported beef steaks and porkshops. The biggest Bourbon collection possibly in China. A husband and wife run establishment that keep quality at the fore
David, who is from Oregon, USA and his wife Tina from China are a terrific couple that run a fantastic "Grateful Dead" themed restaurant/bar/hang-out spot on Walking Street in DongCheng neighborhood of Dongguan, China. It's right across the street from Al Chile Mexican restaurant smack-dab in the middle of countless little Chinese bars, massage parlors, and knick-knack shops on Walking Street. A really cool vibe is in the surrounding area. In addition to American classics such as chilli dogs, chicken fried steak, macaroni & cheese- they also have an upstairs area with instruments to jam on! They have a full band set up- drums, guitar, bass, and microphones with a P.A. system for Open Mic night. Also, I saw a group playing Dungeons & Dragons up there! I was in a band that practiced there and since we live abroad we don't have our own instruments with us so it makes it so convenient to rock out- even far away from home in China! David is a music enthusiast so always has some interesting tunes playing at the bar. I even heard one of my favorite bands Oysterhead playing while munching down on a "Phil Lesh" Philly Cheesesteak! Great tunes, good food, and cool people! The "Q" means BBQ so be ready for the tasty stuff!

Our state of the art facility impresses everyone that comes to visit. A lot of the equipment we have invested in has never been seen in China before, whether that be in the kitchen, main dining area, toilets or the app for your phone. But what truly amaze
A great new edition to Dongguan . Fantastic selection of Craft and English Beers on Tap where the beer is cold and ye service is great . A great selection of traditional British Pub food ( Fish and Chips are awesome) with plenty of selections and they do a very good Indian night once per week . Decor is nice , fit out is great , the toilets are the cleanest and the best I have encountered anywhere in a venue in China .Highly recommend.
Upon arriving to the Hyatt Regency Dongguan, we chose to have dinner at The Copper Grill which is located in the hotel so it was quick and very convenient. The restaurant had a very quiet and calm atmosphere. It's an upscale steakhouse with great ambiance and the service met expectations. Each part of our meal was served promptly and efficiently. The food was very enjoyable and our dinner was a nice way to cap off a very busy day. It's likely the most expensive dining option located within the hotel, so be prepared for some high prices. But, it did provide a great atmosphere for us to conduct a very enjoyable business dinner and if the same opportunity to have another very nice business dinner in Dongguan happens in the future, I would certainly consider eating at The Copper Grill again. As for the hotel on a future stay, I will certainly be happy to stay at the Hyatt Regency Dongguan again.
