Tipical basque country restaurant. We have our own product from our garden. In our restaurant you can eat nice meat, fish, vegetables and a very good wine.
A bit hard to find, but very highly recommended. Convenient when driving from San Sebastian to the airport of Bilbao. Great to see the fields where they grow their own vegetables. The grilled meat from the wood fire was simply perfect. But the rape fish was also a great experience, just fresh from the fire with an simple but elegant dressing. The excellent quality of this restaurant is reflected by the fact that on a regular Monday afternoon the restaurant was packed with guests, so a good idea to reserve.

I went with my daughter for lunch. We shared clams, then foie with boletus and eggs to continue with a grilled ârodaballoâ choosing as a dessert âpantxinetaâ. We asked a 3/8 litres bottle of white wine Albariño.Everything was delicious, very fresh products idoneously cooked. The bill was â¬121 for both of us.I strongly recommend it even if I missed the ecological txakoli Urkizahar, best one of D.O. Getaria in my opinion.

New italian restaurant in Mutriku, Gipuzkoa. Home made pizzas, pasta, salads and the best meat made at our grill. Enjoy our sea and mountain views. Big free parking.
We were at a bit of a loose end as to where to eat as the previous resturants we had been to had not been very good food wise- so I google mapped nearest resturants and it sent us up into the hills! We wern't sure what to expect but when we walked in the resturant was buzzing- full of locals and there were clearly no tables free. We asked a waitress whether there was a free table and she asked us to wait five minutes which we did, as we were waiting the man serving behind the bar leant over and asked if we were okay, we explained we were waiting and he said 'I will sort this out!'A few seconds later we found ourselves in a table in the kitchen, watching the chefs cook our food! There was a chicken watching us through the window which we found hilarious- and our friendly bar man then become our waiter. His name was Xommy (I hope I've spelt it right!) and he made our experience! The food was very yummy and I had a bbq pizza and a lovely ganache dessert.I particularly loved when we left, as it was dark and completely silent apart from the noise of the goats in the nearby fields and the bells around their necks!Thank you!Thank you for your opinion!!! We are happy your enjoy your experience with us!!! And txomin is very happy of listening from you!!

Local with ample room for 70 people with attractive tapas bar and private terrace with seating for about 80 people a day menu, special menu, pilgrim menu and specialty meats and grilled fish
We found the tratoria, only a short walk from the town square. Upon arrival we were informed of the daily menu, which was either fish or meat. We chose a fish and tomato salad, a bottle of white whine and for main course the fish. Both the food and wine quality were great. What came as an unpleasant surprise was that the fish (locally caught) was 65 euro by itself, quite expensive for a local produce. You can say this was our own fault, after all we didn't ask for the price beforehand, but still I believe you may expect more reasonable prices for local produce. Service was good though (we speak Spanish and the owner was friendly and adequate) and the food was nice, it's just the price that made the experience a bit bittersweet

We had a very nice dining experience washed down with some excellent txotz, served straight from the barrels. Our chuleton de buey for two was served rare, but our friends' steaks were overdone, unfortunately. It is a quaint restaurant, with long tables and benches. The salads were very good. Portions were generous. It is clearly a favourite place with the locals.
