Historic old Castle that was really the home of the Abbess who ruled Quedlinburg. Lot's of history from the crowning of the first German King (start of the 1st Reich) and down through the centuries. Good views of Quedlinburg from the walls and a nice museum that told the history of the Schloss beautifully including the ways the 3rd Reich tried to turn it into a cult center. Not as richly decorated as some other castles but well done.
