Enjoyed our meal of pasta on our recent visit. The pasta was delicious and the sauce yummy. We had the spaghetti with mussels and the orecchiette with ragu. Well cooked pasta and sauce. The house wine was also a nice red. Busy restaurant with the pizza part noisy with customers and singing pizza makers but this provides some entertainment to the restaurant. We loved this little place and were sad it wasn't busy. After some average meals elsewhere we went here twice. For starters we shared a plate of meat and chese, then on the second trip tried pickled (preserved actually) vegetables and bruschetta. The star main was the octopus ragout we both had on the first visit, gorgeous flavours.Also had fritto misto and tuna with pistachio. Puddings were excellent - cassata with pistachio, chocolate souffle amazing. Friendly and the chef always pops out to say hello.

This restaurant was next to our hotel Victor. Passed it a couple of times seemed empty but we ventured in and glad we did .A very helpful waiter helped us choose on my struggling Italian. We tried the mixed antipasto all local and very tasty .A fried calzone was different but we shared with a normal calzone. The house wine was very good and although midweek was quiet we returned nearer the weekend for a another delightful meal .Give it a try .

We selected this restaurant because of its Michelin rating and were not disappointed with its location, atmosphere or the food, which was amazing. it was joy to be able to see into the kitchen and witness the chefs all working extremely hard to turn out such good food. What was disappointing was how the waiter on the floor managed to singlehandedly undo all of their good work with his arrogant and dismissive manner. We were in the restaurant early and despite that, were consistently served behind people who arrived well after us, even though the food we ordered was no different to those around us. His final stroke was to forget my husband's dessert and to attempt to pour a glass of sparkling wine into my previous wine glass without offering a new glass. Lazy and rude service which spoiled our meal.Dear OutAndAbout1961, we are sorry to read your disappointment, but certainly there was been a misunderstanding: anyway, it will never happen again.Thanks a lot for choosing our restaurant and for expressly rewarding the high quality of our food. This one proves you can set up a restaurant anywhere. Just off the pavement and even using parking obstacles to set small "bar" table on Amazing salume & formaggio, great wine. Not very expensive, owner/waiter very helpful. On the "wrong" side of railroad, a bit away from the tourist trail. Gelato shop just up the road, fantastic dessert!Thanks for your review RexRodney!!!
