This restaurant was a real find. It is worth going for the charismatic and entertaining maitre'd alone! The food was superb - we let the maitre'd do the recommending and went with the veal which was excellent. They even knocked â¬8 off the bill. It was a very pleasant experience overall.

Yummy Japanese food here! Almost didn't expect it as we're in Italy, and I felt I should be eating Italian food whilst here. So glad I went here though! Quick service. Very fresh food. There isn't anything from the outside of the restaurant to say it's there, so just look for the 5B on the wall. Menu was slightly hard to understand, so if you don't speak Italian... bring a dictionary or translator.

Service and food are not good enough, given the fact that the place is new. I hope it will get better in the future. I don't expect the food to be 100% authentic, but some of the dishes are butchered beyond recognition. I hope everything improves in the future.

We popped into Il Coccio before our flight home and we stunned at the quality of the food! Very different to what we have had during our trip around Italy and it was lush home cooking with different spins on some classic dishes! Highly recommend you jump in if you are in Bergamo!!

We were stuck at the airport hotel in Bergamo and didn't feel like driving into to town to eat.As it was a Monday night many restaurants in this area were closed. We weren't expecting much, but On the contrary the service and ambiance were impeccable. You could tell it was a dining area furnished for reception but it was clean and pleasant and had nice lighting- so no problem. We tired a pizza- very good, and a porcini risotto which was excellent and abundant. And one order of the Bergamese ravioli ( don't recall the name) but totally delicious and again a large portion. The tiramisu was excellent. No wine. the bill was 40 euro.
