Auburndale Speedway is a great hometown race track with everything that you need to provide good fun and entertainment for local race fans. There is good food available for sale at reasonable prices and the parking is free. Can't beat that for sure!! The grandstand seating is good and because the track is fairly small you can see all of the action all around the track which makes the racing so much fun for the fans. There is FAMILY SECTiON in the grandstands where alcohol is not allowed so that is great if you are bringing you children with you to the races and don't want them to be around those who are consuming alcohol. There are special amenities offered like selling ear plugs and programs with the race events for a very small charge which make your experience even better. The people who work at the track are friendly and helpful. If you need to leave to go back out to your parked car, you can get a hand stamp and then re-enter without any hassles at all. This little race track is a great place for racing fans to head out to for a fun-filled time of revved-up motors, squealing tires, and green flags dropping. Let's go short track racing at the Auburndale Speedway and have some great fun!!!

The park is just a short walk from the roadway and the water. A friend and I had a picnic lunch in an area of the park that overlooked the wetlands. We purchased our lunch from one of several unique waterfront grills that are within walking distance to the park. The park is scenic and provides a getaway from busy life. We joined other hikers on the paved paths, which were lined with colorful, tropical foliage. The park is well maintained with clean restrooms and interesting landscape designs. As northern tourists, we enjoyed the antics of two gators a safe distance away in a fenced-in area. We were well protected as we were on a wooden bridge above them and appreciated "gator info" from a few native Floridians standing close by. A great place for all ages of the family to enjoy!
