Stillwater is a city in northeast Oklahoma at the intersection of US-177 and State Highway 51. It is the county seat of Payne County, Oklahoma, United States. As of 2012, the city population was estimated to be 46,560, making it the tenth largest city in Oklahoma. Stillwater is the principal city of the Stillwater Micropolitan Statistical Area which had a population of 78,399 according to the 2012 census estimate. Stillwater was part of the first Oklahoma Land Run held on April 22, 1889 when the Unassigned Lands were opened for settlement and became the core of the new Oklahoma Territory. The city charter was adopted on August 24, 1889. Stillwater is home to the main campus of Oklahoma State University as well as Northern Oklahoma College - Stillwater, Meridian Technology Center, and the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education.

Visited the campus after moving my daughter in a local apartment complex. Great little campus at a big university. Seems very easy to get around. In a great college town. Everyone we saw had on something OSU it seemed like. I am very glad my daughter will be going here for grad school. Every person in town was awesome and friendly.

Love the new video board! We love to come to OSU games! Large variety of concessions available. The first aid people are very caring and friendly.

Pictures and words don't do this place justice! It is a massive new church with one of the most beautiful alter areas you've ever seen. It's hard to believe something like this can be built these days with the cost of construction. Take a few moments and take a tour or even better, attend a mass!

So much fun to see and take pics with kids. I strongly recommend going if you’re in town visiting. I love taking friends too.
