The city borders the city of Hekou Yao Autonomous County, in the Yunnan province of southwest China. This was about a 3 hour ride from Sapa to the Cao Son Market. The last 1 1/2 hr was on a very bumpy road.Cao Son Market was a small local market but still interesting to watch all the local people barter in their colorful attire. Scenery was somewhat cloudy the day we went. Imagine on a clear sunny day, it would be more lovely.
