We offer farm tours relating to local agriculture including cotton and alfalfa. Learn how cotton is grown from seed to bale. This 2 1/2 to 3 hour tour includes an indoor presentation followed by a hayride out to the field. Cotton is planted in the spring and picked in the fall. We have cotton in the field until mid-February. You will see a cotton picker, cotton module builder and a cotton rood which picks up ground cotton. If cotton is not in the ground, we still offer tours. Please call for information on dates, times and reservations. Reservations are required.
We just visited here for a homeschool field trip while visiting from Oregon during Covid. Absolutely excellent tour. My kids ages 10-13 loved seeing the farm implements, watching the presentation to learn all about the cotton harvest, and especially picking and handling the cotton. She modifies the presentation for younger kids. Nancy is an excellent guide. Highly recommended!

A joint project between Casa Grande Main Street and the city of Casa Grande Historic Preservation Commission, this outdoor museum features 14 signs that have been salvaged and restored from historic sites in and around Casa Grande. The signs are lit every night from dusk until 11 p.m. and is free of charge.
Visiting this museum / park was the main focus of a recent overnight trip to Casa Grande. I first heard about it while visiting a similarly themed indoor museum in Tucson. I had a very pleasant visit--just dark enough that I was able to see the signs in all their glory! I spent a good deal of time reading the information posted alongside the exhibits. The only issue I had is that some of the information was difficult to read because of bird droppings. I suppose a certain amount of that is to be expected; being located outdoors, but I do hope there is a regular cleaning and maintenance schedule. Prior to this visit I had no idea of how comparatively large the town is. I especially enjoyed walking through the "oldtown" area earlier in the day. If nothing unforeseen happens, I definitely plan to return for a more lengthy stay.

Never open, must be rented by appointment only. $300 per day. or $200 for up to 4 hours. rest of 100 characters.
I love this place! We try to stop by every year, and it is a cool place to take friends. As we walked through today, I thought this would of made a really cool Ruins bar. If you’ve been to the Ruins bars in Budapest, I’m sure you’ll agree. The back dim is mostly collapsed, so I would stay out of it. It will really be a shame when the domes are gone. Fun& weird as Hell, what more could you ask for!

This is a very good place to visit. It's proximity to Phoenix, Tucson, and Sedona is very good. For temperature and crowds late spring is the time to go.
