Delectable dim sum, floating islands, and a one-of-a-kind skyline are just some of Hong Kong’s unique features. Get an eyeful of traditional Chinese architecture in Ngong Ping village, then take the tram to the tippity-top of Victoria Peak for unparalleled views. The rocks and gentle hills of Nan Lian Garden will bring you inner peace, as will a calming cup of tea in a Stanley café. Become one with everything at the Chi Lin Nunnery, a serene Buddhist complex.

Founded in 2017 by an ex-lawyer and a historian, Bleak House Books is one of Hong Kong's last remaining indie bookshops specializing in new and used English language books. Come visit us at our 27th floor bookshop in semi-industrial San Po Kong, Kowloon. There you'll find rare and out-of- print first editions, books about Hong Kong, lots of paperbacks from cheapies to super vintage editions, hardboiled fiction, vintage Penguins, kids books of yore (matte covers!), graphic novels galore, vintage sheet music, and much more.

We came to this Plaza Hollywood every day during our holiday in Hong Kong. It's not a massive shopping mall but it was so convenient for us as we were staying in the apartment above the mall. It provided everything we needed as it has got more than 250 restaurants and shops. In general, they were all good range of well-known shops and restaurants as we managed to acquire all our souvenirs here and had spent a lot of time dining at the restaurants inside this mall. In terms of shops, they have pharmacies, a 6 screens cinema, a very lovely supermarket (called Taste), and also stores/ shops selling electronics, clothing, shoes, sportswear, stationeries, foods, snacks, bakeries, books...etc. They also have a variety of restaurants and cafes (34 of them at present) and the majority of them are quite good standards and inexpensive. Plaza Hollywood shopping mall is constructed in the shape of 3 massive octagons and is split into 4 levels. There aren't many shops/ restaurants on the ground floor as it is mainly used as bus stops. Restaurants and shops are spread over between 1st to 3rd floors. There are plenty of toilets & escalators on each floor. The shopping mall is spacious and there are plenty of walking areas even during peak hours. In the middle of the shopping mall, there is an octagon shape of stained glasses above the centre which is also often used as an exhibition venue. Another merit of Plaza Hollywood is about its location. It is just above the Diamond Hill MTR station and the bus/ taxi stops. It is also just next to the famous Chi Lin Nunnery and Nan Lian Garden. It's so easy to access. Highly recommended to anyone who is nearby or if you are hungry and on your way to visit the Chi Lin Nunnery or Nan Lian Garden.
