Do not eat here on a Sunday night. Ordered the flounder Florentine. The flounder was breaded and greasy. The hush puppies were like boulders that you could barely cut into they were so over done as ell as the grilled asparagus. The waitress was over her head with only waiting on 3 tables of people but the food was not her fault. Sent the hush puppies back and then could not eat more than a few bites of the flounder. Explained this awful meal to the waitress to explain to the chef. She stated that this cook if that is what you could call him only works the weekend. The chef never bothered 5o comes out and apologize and nothing was taken off the bill.

Service was prompt and smiling. The menu has SO MANY options for a great seafood dinner that you are sure to find something to suit you. Seafood dishes can be broiled, fried, blackened, or grilled. Then they offer low country boil pots and steamed shrimp options, too. If I lived in town, I'd be a regular customer.

The service was good on the night we were there. It was a slow night so we got served quickly. The seafood was just average and I would rate the sides below average. Prices were good for what we got.

We have been serving fresh, local seafood since 1996. We are located at the West Marina in Historic, downtown St. Marys, GA. Please join us for a fabulous meal.
Originally I was going to go somewhere else in St. Marys, until Lang's was suggested. I'm glad I took the advice. The setting downtown St Marys on the water is beautiful. Went for lunch with friends. My first impression was that the restaurant was very clean. I had a seafood platter with fried shrimp, fried oysters, and fried scallops. Also okra on the side and excellent collard greens. The scallops in particular were excellent, and the serving was generous. The breading was especially nice as it wasn't too thick. We talked about dessert but were too full. A friend of mine had the flounder and she raved about it. Recommended.
The guy running the bait shop down the road opened this place....not sure about the fish quality. The place is closed a lot and the food is not not not worth the money.!Keep selling bait!

This restaurant keeps drawing us back like a magnet. Ever since they opened, many visits have taught us we will never be disappointed in their fried shrimp lunch or dinner. Located in a strip mall across the intersection from the Buick/ GMC/Chevy dealer on A1A, it has little curb appeal. You will see the order counter as you enter the front door. They have self serve drink dispensers right there on the counter next to the order stations and a menu on the wall and hard copies as well. There are about a dozen tables in the main room and another 8 or so in an auxiliary room which is only opened when extra space is needed or for groups. Their order takers are always pleasant and efficient. We have tried to analyze what makes their food taste so good and think that the cooking oil must be kept very fresh. I generally donât like hush puppies, but I like theirs. Being near the shrimping port city of Fernandina Beach, many âseafood purestâ locals look down on this modest restaurant for serving small, frozen shrimp rather that fresh, never-frozen shrimp. We donât notice much difference. I always have their coleslaw and baked potato as my sides, which are both consistently great. We donât eat out often but often find ourselves dropping in for a âspur-of-the-momentâ lunch when we are out their way running errands. If you are not a âseafood purestâ, and want a reasonably priced seafood dinner, this could become your go-to place like it is for us.
