Happy anniversary to my #1, Love of My Life. @michele1l2 . Dinner was outstanding. Food was creative, tasted great and plated nicely. But the service made the night. Between the fresh, sustainable food, the waitstaff and the Sommeliers, this was a complete dining experience. Bravo! Seafood cocktail for 2, a play on prosciutto wrapped cantaloupe as if we were at my grandmas house, thinsliced cantaloupe and duck prosciutto with a big burrata ball. Then onto lobster and barrimundi grilled to perfection. Paired perfectly with 2014 @zindhumbrecht Riesling. Ended the great night with 20 layer crepe, white heaven and a 2008 tokaji. Couldnt have a better night with my one and only. Cheers!

Staying with very good friends in Long Island we visited this restaurant on a Thursday evening and WOW! What a fantastic restaurant and experience. The ambience and decor is beautiful, clean and authentic. The staff welcoming were courteous, polite and friendly. The table and chairs were comfortable and everything smartly presented. Upon sitting down we were supplied with menus and asked for a drink. Firstly, drinking water quality and taste varies throughout USA but the iced tap water here was perfect. The menu is so varied with many different options and with so much to choose from I wanted to try a bit of everything but that was not possible ... they have a number of signature sushi rolls and dishes and I highly recommend these! My wife and I share mini vegetable egg rolls (hot), salmon and avocado inside out sushi and the âspecialâ Naruto roll - a combination of Salmon, tuna, yellowtail wrapped in Cucumber with a House vinegar dressing .... one of the best sushi rolls Iâve ever tasted!!For the main course I shared the Chilean Sea Bass with my wife. We also had vegetable pineapple fried rice (make sure you ask for no chicken if you want it completely vegetarian) and lo mein vegetable noodles. Another fantastic dish. Our friends had the fillet mignon and sons extra sushi rolls which looked excellent and they complimented their dishes. We had eaten so much do unfortunately did not save room for desert so canât comment.I drank the Platinum Sushi (720 ml) with our friends and it was excellent!I understand they also have a karaoke room at the back and a further separate secluded dining room.I canât recommend this restaurant high enough. My only disappointment is that there isnât one in London, United Kingdom! When we return to New York ... it will be top of our agenda and shall certainly visit again!Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!
It's right down from the health club that I belong to. So it;s very convenient for picking up either a pre-made entree or a good fresh catch. Yes, it is a little pricey, but you have to pay for quality.

Old fashioned in a good way. Always enjoy their shrimp in green sauce and shrimp and chicken ajillo, and of course, sangria! Started off with some nice crispy Spanish potato chips.Friendly and helpful staff.

This little place is what every town needs-- an idiosyncratic menu of mostly southern specialties, interesting bar and an owner on premises sometimes doubling as a waitress.BBQ meats are tender with a nice rind. The sauces are either Texas or North Carolina-- that is sweetish with a touch of spice or vinegary with some spice. Both very good.Portions are ample and prices are reasonable. Ice tea is refilled promptly and without charge--just as it is in the south. The sides are great but check with your cardiologist before embarking on a deep dive into the cheesy grits-- they are rich as can be.Lunch specials are mostly around $10 but can be a bit on the small side (the rib special is three small ribs.) Weekdays bring fabulous beignets loaded with powdered sugar, hush puppies can sometimes be a tad overdone. If you are looking for a highly personal culinary tour of the deep south, head on over to Syosset and ask for Mara. This is a place that is to be treasured and supported as it is both highly original, quirky and delicious at the same time.
