We often go for a walk by the coast here visit the Rum factory steam powered, then go around the sea walk to end at this very good snack bar. You can have a full meal or snack with good service some very fresh fish meals or meats. we love the octopus in tomato and oil with garlic bread. Fresh cooked fish also French fries with a chicken sandwich is good

Located in the Vila Bela Hotel. Good fresh seafood, generous portions, and attentive service. I selected the fish soup with a tuna salad (large portion size) and my wife had grilled sardines. Inside and outside tables are available. Maitre de was a jovial person and fun to talk with.

We stumbled across this place while driving round the Santana area. We ate the best prego especial (steak sandwich with ham and cheese) in bolo do caco (The Madeira bread). I ate the same sandwich in different places throughout the holiday but no other place even came close to how good this one was.

We were recommended this unassuming little place by a local and it is fantastic.Humble, uncomplicated, superb staff, homely, lovely attention to detail.We came back after the first meal was so good and although a much bigger group and ordering different meals, it was excellent again. You won't be disappointed!
