Where to eat Japanese food in San Lorenzo: The Best Restaurants and Bars
I love this place! You can get a medium ($10.50) or large ($12.50) poke bowl and unlimited toppings. You have your choice of sushi rice, brown rice, salad, or half&half. Medium gives you 3 protein choices and large gives you 6. The fish was fresh and the toppings were delicious. They even have macaron ice cream sandwhich desserts available. Great place for a quick lunch. I got the medium and I was stuffed!

Because it is one of the bigger restaurants that serves dim sum outside of Oakland and locals have the hankering for dim sum and seafood dishes, it is one busy place since it opened. Be sure to come early when they open for dim sum (a line starts before they open 10 am). Likewise, be sure to book a reservation if you have a large party for dinner or arrive early when they first open for dinner service. Otherwise, you are in for a long wait.We had an early dinner reservation to celebrate a family member's birthday. We ordered individual dishes and not from the set menu for large parties. Their seafood was very fresh. We could not get enough of their version of sashimi. The other dishes were creative, savory and tasty. The decor of blue and gold was calming and soothing. As I write this review, they are expanding to the location next door, next to the JoAnn store.

Had early Saturday lunch here. Only had sashimi, karage, and 2 beverage. Perhaps we lucked out. The omakase sashimi was 14 pieces of good sized fish and all tender. And only $18! That is unusually good value. The karage was average. Service was fast and efficient but this was before noon.
Food is tasty, fresh and hot! You can't go wrong with what you order! The Cajun fries are wonderful as well as the coconut shrimp and calamari.

Flew into Oakland airport and commute traffic was horrible. Looked for a place close by to eat and decided to try Horatioâs. We were seated immediately at a wonderful table overlooking the marina. An incredibly friendly waiter , Greg, soon stopped by with some recommendations for our meal. I chose the ribs and macaroni which turned out to be the best meal I have had in a long time. Took half the ribs home for lunch the next day. The scallops and calamari eaten by my friends was equally fabulous. We left with full, happy tummies and had no traffic getting to San Jose.
