Es un buen hotel lo malo es la poca recreación que tiene después de las 7pm y pocas ofertas de comida .
Very local Cuban family restaurant. If staying in the Brisas walk through the main pool area to the exit and follow the road over the bridge and where the fishing boats are. It is a 10 minute walk. Well worth it. We first visited this little gem in 2015 when there were only four of us. This year we decided to return and there were 8 of us. Very authentic. They serve what they catch. We had main courses of Lobster (massive), prawns, chicken and three of the sea which included lobster prawns and crab. All mains were served with Salad, rice and beans plantain and sweet potato chips. The beer was flowing and we had a couple of bottles of wine. Everybody said it was the best meal we had eaten. Judeina (not sure of the spelling) who served us was a delight, her english was very little but we got by and by the end of the night we had booked to come again on the Sunday before we flew home Monday. Another excellent meal. and drinks. Unfortunately we had a 24hr delay so we went back for our final meal on the Monday. Judeina was very happy to see us ALL AGAIN. We all had various meals of sea food including Lobster. We even took our own bottle of rum as we knew they didnt keep a large stock of it. 3 bottles of wine were purchased and beer and mixers for the rum and we rounded the night off with dessert of creme caramel. Lovely setting in the garden of a typical cuban house and great value for money. 3 nights out for 8 people with excelleant meals and drinks and wonderful service for less than £20 per person each night including a very substantial tip. Cannot reccomend this place enough. Open 12 lunch till 9pm but if you are there will not rush you and you can stay as long as you like.

A group of friends and I recently had the most delicious food ever in a Cuban restaurant. The tables were set out lovingly in spectacular gardens affording all guests privacy and space Most of us ate the marlin, tender melt in your mouth perfection served with a salad and rice and crisp sweet potato chips. The host Ariel and his wife Anya made us feel as if we were family . We all look forward to a return visit on our next vacation.

I was fortunate to eat at the restaurant before it officially opened. The food is incredible and more importantly the staff are wonderful!I highly recommend this restaurant for those needing a break from the monotony of resort food!

Headed there for lunch one day as we were staying at Club Amigo. Nice walk up the beach and hill. We arrived before they "opened" at 11:30 but they had no problem welcoming us in and serving us. The three of us enjoyed beer and the lobster lunch which comes with salad, beans and rice and fried banana chips. The food was excellent as was the service. We sat cliff side and had an excellent view of the ocean. The chickens walking around was also quite a laugh as they clucked at you while you are. Will definitely eat there again on our next visit to Club Amigo.

We were staying in a local all inclusive resort, and, following the reviews we had read on TA decided to try out La Maison. We opted for a taxi to take us there and bring us back, over that really bumpy road. When we arrived, we were sat in the corner table overlooking the sea, with an amazing view of Guardalavaca Beach. This is the only really positive thing I can say - the location is amazing. The waitress brought us the menus and did not ask what we wanted to drink - we had to call her back to request beer, wine and water. After about ten minutes, she came back to take our orders. When she finally brought our food, she also brought a dish of plantain chips and a bowl of salad. Watching other people arrive and seeing how they were served, we worked out that the plantain and salad was "nibbles" to tide you over while the food was prepared - ours was all brought together with the main course. We had cheese balls and shrimp salad for appetizers and I had grilled chicken and rice, my wife requested lobster which was off the menu that night, so she opted for the chicken too. The cheese balls were only OK, the shrimp was average. Both chicken dishes were swimming in garlic, so not really to our liking. We weren't offered more drinks or checked up on. We had to ask for the bill and chase the waitress to pay, as the taxi had arrived to take us back home. All in all, a disappointing, expensive night. Expensive - as the taxi was 25CUC including a tip, the meal was 38CUC including tip, 63CUC = $63US, or about $80CAD. If we'd opted for an a la carte meal that night in our resort, it would have been better quality, with better service. We were disappointed as other TA reviews seem to love the place. We regret your stay has been unpleasant, we will analyze all the aspects that will affect the service that night and will take measures so that it does not happen again with another client, the humble pediments excuse us and that you can visit again, identify yourself to gratify it and make change the impression that was taken.
