Albufera

Owned by a Spanish woman, this excellent fish and seafood restaurant makes a tasty addition to a local offering overridden by red meat and pasta. Reasonably priced, the menu is diverse enough to cater for all tastes, including decent wines and uncommon desserts. From tapas to whole fish dishes, everything we tried was top-notch. Their paella is even better than the original in Spain: these people know their socarrat!

Mercado Norte

We stumbled across this place as we wandered around Cordoba. Very clean, good selection of food particularly meat - we spent quite a lot of time trying to identify some of the internal organs !! There are a lot of places to eat and we had great, cheap, empanadas cooked by two very friendly ladies.

Sushiclub Cordoba

i'd say sushi club is the best option i the city. there is this other place i like called teppanyaki but its too far away. sushi club has always a great service and diverse variety. if you are from cordoba and have certain credit cards you can get discounts, though there are other ways of getting them. or maybe you are a tourist but have a friend in cordoba so let them know and maybe your friend can get you a discount, i recently got to know that some of them can be added and you can end up with a 50% discount, this is a very expensive restaurant. great location, with parking lots nearby.

La Cocina de Fazzio

Always get there when they open (especially on a Saturday) or make a reservation. In the wonderful Mercado Norte, La Cocina de Fazzio serves the best and freshest seafood fare you could only dream of in the middle of Argentina. Serving the freshest ingredients from their own seafood stand at the market, La Cocina de Fazzio is not just a wonderful culinary treat, but also an experience. Went there several times with friends and once with my spouse. It was always a great dining experience. It gets busy, so be ready to wait if you get there after it opens. The fried calamari and the seafood pasta dishes are glorious. Always many daily specials; try them; ask and talk to your waiter. Great wine options (dry whites and roses are the best). One of my top five restaurants in Córdoba.

Sabores Del Peru

Reviewed By Matthewfromct

I wasn't really thinking about trying to hunt down a good Peruvian restaurant while in Cordoba for Oktoberfest, but I had a change of heart after seeing some of the reviews here. The restaurant is in an area of town called Alta Cordoba, so it's a 10 minute taxi from the center. The restaurant itself has a traditional Peruvian design with artwork and rugs reflecting different parts of Peru on the walls. I went with a friend and I tried the "conchitas con parmesan" where were mussels served with parmesan cheese for an appetizer. It was brought out quick and very hot. The quality was good but it came with only four (still not bad for less than 50 pesos). I then had the ceviche especial for the main course. It was expertly prepared. I forgot to ask for it spicy (Argentines traditionally don't like spicy) but they brought out a spicy sauce after asking for it. The portion was huge and the seafood was fresh (rare for Cordoba). Wait staff were professional but not overly friendly. I'll definitely go back next time I'm in Cordoba.

Food was very good, waitstaff was terrible. For the amount of money we spent, I expected much more. The wine was hot, asked for a chilled bottle and was told, "I'll get you ice". The resturaunt itself is stuck in the 80's need some major upgrades. Overall as I said it was good, but at the price it lacks a lot
