I love this shop so much. Their coffee is great, their baking is great, their ice cream is TO DIE FOR. They also have sooo much wonder tea and local products to buy and bring home to your loved ones. They're about to expand, so I'm definitely going there to see the new place once it's ready!

I used this place both for eating and going out in the evening. The food was better before (portion size is going down, quality varies). It is an Ok place to be and they have an artist on some nights which is nice. Not more than average, but potential.

On a very rainy day we arrived at Molde and we hoped to save our day with a good dinner.Looking around in town where, on a friday night not much was happening, we followed our nouse and came by Amalie. We were welcomed by a very friendly lady in a beautiful restaurant. We had as starter "Amelie's" kremet fiskesuppe! Two words: "THE best", with homemade warm bread. After several vacations in scandinavia i can really tell this was the best fish soup ever! Not enough bread, now problem just ask and you will receive antogher delicious piece. The main course was another masterpiece: Chili & ingefaer gratinert klippfisk: unbelievable tastfull. You have to be very hungry to eat all of this and still have room for dessert, we didn't. I'm sure the desserts are from the same high standard. My compliments for the chef. The whole evening we had a very nice talk with the Lady of the house. She also gave us a ton of information for our next days so we had a lot of inside information, thank you so much. Also thanks for the pictures you took for and from us.I hope that we can come back to Molde one day, now we know there an excellent restaurant with an exceptional lovely, caring Lady.Thank you it was the best evening on our trip, one to remember!

After a very quick reservation by phone we arrived to enjoy great attention from our server for the entire meal. This was a great evening as a whole, from booking the reservation to arrival, service through the meal, the setting with great views on a clear evening over the ocean and mountains, and the food itself. Prices are in line with most restaurants in Norway and as a party of three we had the smoked whale, the fried cod tongues, the seafood soup, the gratinated cod, and the halibut, as well as the milk chocolate parfait and house-made ice cream and sorbet. We found the flavours nuanced and delicious. There were no issues with heaviness of the food or with small portions that we've found elsewhere in Europe. The restaurant tells you where it sources many of its ingredients and many are from the area. We ordered two desserts with the intention of sharing them and the server had the thought to simply ask the chefs to split the desserts on three plates. Thus each of us had our own dessert selection and a very different presentation than if ordered singly! I've never seen this done. Compared to eating at the Scandic Seilet restaurant this was well worth it and if in the area I'd make the effort to come back and have dinner here again. I'd say it's worth coming back to Molde for the food here.

We had a nice lunch while visiting Molde. Restaurant was not very busy for midday on a Saturday, but looks like reservations for every table that night. Pizza was great - a little larger than personal sized, but might not be enough to share for 2 unless also having something else. Friends had salmon which they said was great. View of the water, though not exactly real picturesque. Staff was very nice and service prompt.
