An OK stop before or after a safari at nearby Udawalawe National Park. Lunch buffet is LKR 800 with LKR300 for a refreshing Lion Beer.
Buffet food was cold and would have been more enjoyable heated up. However, nice open atmosphere with good Wi-Fi although we did have a power outage at while there.

Looked good from the outside. Despite unwashed windows it looked clean inside and it was. Our Sri Lankan friends ate the buffet, which they said was tasteless. I ate a prepared food of cut up pasta, spices and vegetables which was nice. Because I am a foreigner, and I asked for coffee, I was slugged. I should have asked my Native friends to order for me at greatly reduced price

If you eat here, get the rice & curry!! It is a massive amount of food for an excellent price! They made a vegetarian version for me and it was amazing.
If you don't get that, then get the buffet...the dessert alone would have been worth the price.... we paid extra just to be allowed to try some of the dessert...since we didn't originally order the buffet.... (fyi my friends were both disappointed with their a la carte meals...so unless you're doing rice and curry...get the buffet!)
Breakfast buffet was also good.

We stayed one night in the hotel and the staff was very friendly. The hotel has a small pool and is in the opposite side to the Elephant Transit Home. We had good food for dinner as well as for breakfast after our half-day safari. Special Thanks to the very kind staff in the restaurant (Janaka, Chomelta, Chaminda etc.)! :)

Nieuw hotel met een prima restaurant, klein zwembad.
Kamers hebben airco en een ventilator.
