I love this place and have visited many times. It is an all-purpose roadside attraction on the highway outside of Siguatepeque. The restaurant is cafeteria style and serves an interesting and tasty array of Honduran and North American foods. They are accustomed to large groups and they have plenty of space to accommodate the crowds that always seem to be there. The other attraction of Granja D'Elia is the grocery store adjacent to the restaurant that is a good place to stock up on a full range of provisions including fresh produce and baked goods. The hotel behind the restaurant is also well-run, clean and pleasant. A bonus is the cages of deer and exotic birds on the property!

I went to Siguatepeque on a Habitat trip and our group had dinner here one night. The restaurant is in a private setting which is very nice and has tons of wood decor for a natural look & feel. The food was plenty and it was delicious! They really know how to grill meat and their hot sauces were fiery goodness.
The restaurant has a little shop that sells jewelry, coffee & other neat little things. The restaurant staff also presented us each with a bird of paradise which I thought was adorable.

This restaurant is located near the Parque Central of Siguatepeque and was recommended to us by the staff at our hotel across the street. It was a clean, comfortable family restaurant with a menu featuring barbecue and other typical Honduran meals. We had both dinner and breakfast there and were satisfied with the service, setting and quality of the food. The restaurant is spacious and they easily accommodated a large group of people. As a plus, there was karaoke during the dinner hours...!

We've stopped here many times for breakfast on cross-Honduras road trips. Over the years we've seen the place remodeled and expanded into a spacious, well organized restaurant with consistently great food and decorated to honor its country. Murals and items on the walls show off the local culture. I like the typical Honduran breakfast of mashed beans, sausage, cheese, and eggs to order with coffee from on the side.
Like Dr. Who's tardis, this place looks bigger on the inside than the outside so don't pass it by for lack of a fancy parking lot. It's worth the stop.
We invite you to experience a great time in Juan Cruz Cafe with the best coffee in the area, delicious desserts and a welcoming atmosphere in our themed coffee shop that enhances the culture and history of the city.
