Stúkuhúsið is a lovely café situated in the center of Patreksfjörður. The café focuses on offering good quality coffee as well as a range of home-made pastries, sandwiches, salads, soups and a meal of the day composed of the freshest available fish and/or seabird.

We had the halibut special and it was awesome. Came with small potatoes and salad not to mention the 2 big pieces of halibut. Enjoyed a dessert to make the meal the best.

We visited this restaurant in the local Foss Hotel. Their seafood selections were quite good. The baked cod was flaky & juicy & was served with sweet potato purée & asparagus. The seafood linguini came as tagliatelle in a cream sauce with loads of scallops, a few mussels & one shrimp - very tasty. Be sure to save room for dessert as the tiramisu is wonderful.

Very good food, 4 of us had Hamburgers, which we're very good. One of us had the Duck which she raved about. We all should have had the Icelandic Fish Stew
The outside doesn't look like much, but once inside the meal and the service are outstanding

Between us, we had fish soup, fish stew and lamb' all well presented and delicious. Saw several burgers served to other patrons, and looked very tasty. Too full for dessert, but they sounded tasty. Lamb with red wine sauce was perfectly cooked and served with a variety of vegetables.

We ate at Hotel Flokulundur twice while in the west fjords. First time we had lunch after a hike nearby and a soak in the nearby hot pot. Tasty fish soup but the salads were overpriced (even by Iceland standards). Warm apple pie and rhubarb oatmeal cakes were both delicious! Second visit we had beers while waiting for the nearby ferry. Cute spot and can get a little busy since there aren't many other restaurants nearby.
