Marinduque (Tagalog pronunciation: [maɾinˈduke]) is an island province in the Philippines located in Southwestern Tagalog Region or MIMAROPA, formerly designated as Region IV-B. Its capital is the municipality of Boac. Marinduque lies between Tayabas Bay to the north and Sibuyan Sea to the south. It is west of the Bondoc Peninsula of Quezon province; east of Mindoro Island; and north of the island province of Romblon. Some parts of the Verde Island Passage, the center of the center of world's marine biodiversity and a protected marine area, are also within Marinduque's provincial waters.

Are you kidding me! My jaw dropped when all the pleasures of home (USA) can be found in this small island. If you really want to feel welcome and experience the great marinduque hospitality, go to this place. Located rooftop of the hotel/motel DJ Plaza in Gasan City.
I learned that this building and restaurant is owned and operated by a dude who trained abroad and became a chef and brought back what he learned.
I went there during lunch time. The bar tender let me mixed some of the specialty drinks that we googled. lol!

Nestled in the capital municipality of Marinduque island, Boac, C Grill and Resto is a rooftop restaurant that offers the refreshing view of Mountains at daytime while having your breakfast, lunch or afternoon coffee. And at night, the restaurant takes on a different look with a relaxing and laid-back vibe to soothe you after a day of fun-filled activities in the island. It is worth making a side-trip for, specially during dinner, after visiting Boac Church, as it is within a short walking distance.
I would suggest trying everything in the menu as they offer delectable mains and sides. I personally recommend their parmesan-garlic chicken wings (also available in other flavors), onion rings, and sisig. Those were my top favorites. Their chicken inasal and tapa are also not to miss. There are other dishes that I liked but that would just make this review really long. You should just really try anything or everything because I can guarantee that you will love each item in the menu. And to better enjoy the night, they also offer beers, and not only your typical San Miguel Beer. They also have cocktails if you are not so much of a beer drinker. Just ask the staff on duty.
And of course, let's not forget the staff. They are really nice, and accommodating. And if you happen to miss the location, just ask around for Lucky Seven Pension House; the restaurant is just on top.
This is a must-try restaurant in Marinduque, so don't miss your chance to visit when in the island. Trying it out made my visit to Marinduque a lot more excellent. And their dishes just gave me another reason to come back.

So before my review, i want send my regards to Ms. Nonielyn one of the front office attendant on the said Resto. As promise here is my review for Boun Appetito, well the restaurant is quite good with the graffiti design on it, like i would say that its in the verge of being an italian restaurant (because of the name haha) and being a west side type of building (if you know what i mean haha) commonly because of the graffiti painted outside, but nevertheless its quite a good sight to eat if you want the silent type of restaurant. For the food, the food i would say is not that superb (well for me superb means it do comes from a 5star restaurant) but then again the food is good (well good for the low price and also for the taste) they have atleast a wide range of food to order ranging from breakfast to dinner, so no worries going here you can go anytime of the day be it breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Lastly they do serve some alcoholic beverages like beers, i don't know if its available during lunch time or it is only serve at night. DEFINITELY going BACK

Though it was said to be a known place to dine locally, the experience we had was not at all pleasing. The insufficient food available when our motorcycle group were there at that time could be attributed maybe to our arrival was beyond lunch time. But even with few food available, staff could not cope in assisting the guests, worst all the food needs to be warmed and they have only one microwave. There is an immediate need to fix their toilet as allowing to let it run like that will certainly turn off future diners.
