We were a table of 4 and enjoyed lamb shank, a pizza, soups & salad and fish and chips. All were really pretty good. Had a glass of wine and a few beers. Sure, the prices were a bit high, but there wasn't much to...MoreThank you for your review. We are pleased that you enjoyed your experience. Regards Inger

We went to this place and had a simple lunch. We ordered 3 different kind of burger and they all really nice! Fresh veggie (we love the beet root inside the burger), good tasted meat. From the big window you can see unblocked sea view. We were very happy to choose this restaurant at this quite town. BTW, they changed name to Cathedral cafe!

The food was awful, my wife was served uncooked tacos that tasted of Indian rather than Mexican spices. On complaining to the waitress that the tacos were uncooked and inedible she was told that they serve their tacos "soft"!
Our visit was on a Friday night and the downstairs bar was full of very loud and pretty drunk local men. They were clearly having a good time but it was not the atmosphere that we sought for a quiet dinner for two.

Fiordlands first food trailer is locally owned creating Kiwi kai with an Asian twist.
Reminded me of a Gua Bao from Taiwan but def not authentic if that is what they are going for. Still, a large portion and great flavor combination. Price was ok, not super cheap, but good for the portion size.

WHAT A SETTING!'THE CHURCH' is actually a 115 year old church located on the shores of lake Manapouri.(Lake Manapouri is rated the Most beautiful lake in New Zealand). Fiordland's cosiest little restaurant & bar. Full of character & charm. Come on down for some honest southern meals and friendly hospitality. Manapouri is the gateway to Doubtful Sounds in the Fiordland National Park.
We went for dinner and were met by friendly, chatty staff. My partner enjoyed his burger but I was disappointed with my fish and chips which seemed, to me, to be frozen packet goods, not freshly made.
A great space with ample parking and excellent wifi!

We visited here for lunch on a very hot day in January. I chose the chicken burger and my wife had a panini with salad. For a small place the menu was extensive with s really wide choice. After a short wait as everything will be made fresh our food arrived. It was really nice and st s great price too. The view was fantastic and the free WiFi was also very fast. Great place. Highly recommended.
