The Museo Larco Café/Restaurant, offers an enchanting ambiance where one can savour the best of Peruvian and International cuisine, including hot dishes, salads, sandwiches, pastries and desserts, as well as hot and cold drinks, Pisco Sour, wines, and beers. All of the food is prepared using the freshest of ingredients that are bought daily. The restaurant is situated on the Museum’s terraces overlooking its vibrant and captivating Gardens.
I stopped for lunch with my friend at the end of our visit to the museum. It was in a very nice setting off the lower Gardens with inside and outside Seating. The service was good and the cuisine excellent. I highly recommend lunch here.Dear Twa5472, We appreciate your time in writing a review in TripAdvisor. Everything about this little coffee shop is great. The latte and espresso we ordered were delicious. However, the barista who took our order was so rude. She reprimanded us for not speaking English when all we said was: un espresso and un Latte. Which is all we ordered and needed. She said "you speak English? Then speak English" then ordered us to have a seat. My boyfriend and I looked at each other puzzled and said aren't those Italian words.
There is no need to be rude to paying customers who are clearly not from Lima.

I arrived from Iquitos and was flying to Cusco the next day, staying at the airport hotel. I googled what were the best restaurants near the airport and found this gem. It closes early, at 5pm, but having skipped lunch, having a late afternoon dinner made sense. From the airport, you go through some poorer parts of town, so while it's close to the airport, ~5 km, paying the 40 /s each way is necessary. At the end of the taxi ride, you arrive at the port, beautiful naval buildings, a submarine and a delightful place to dine. I took the waiter's recommendation for Corvina a la Parrilla con Arroz Norteno y Conchas. They changed out the conchas for langostino and camarones since I'm not a concha fan. The dish has to be one of the best meals I have ever eaten! The fish was moist and expertly prepared, the cilanto rice had a crunchy sofrito without any burn taste marring the crunch.- it was perfection. it was beautifully presented on the plate with a colorful pepper and onion topping. My only regret was there was no room for dessert afterwards even though I came hungry. The service was attentive, and they helped me get a cab and waited for it to arrive since I stayed past closing. They recommended places for me to visit while in Lima. They were patient with my Spanish (or...lack thereof!). All in all it is now a very special memory of my visit to Lima and Peru and I hope to visit them again!

La Caleta de La Punta is a family restaurant. The owners Peñaflor De Souza family day to day dedicated to providing the most familiar and personalized attention to each costumer that visit us. We only have two locations, one beside the other, on the Malecon Pardo de La Punta against the Malecon. We have no other place outside La Punta.
I am glad I followed the recommendation I was given to check this place out. Although it was supposed to be somewhat fusion I did not notice much difference from the traditional peruvian fare, which is exactly what I wanted. They did add a few...MoreGatotabbi, Thanks for your review, we love that you have noticed our attempt to preserve the traditional flavors and give them a different Mediterranean touch by adding the fruits. We hope you keep your promise and come back very soon, Kind regards, Rodolfo and family.

Paprika is a new and different way of seeing Peruvian cuisine, with a Global vision and national identity. Paprika is tasteful and spicy as our food is, but at the same time is refined and elegant.
We had dinner here while we stayed in the Wyndham hotel. It is a big hotel and the hotel and restaurant are used by a lot of travellers (for what other reason would you want to eat in a restaurant near the airport?) but it...MoreEstimate Bert W Thank you for the comments and recomendation, we are glad to know you had a great experience with us.
