Ballinamore (historically Bellanamore, from Irish: Béal an Átha Móir, meaning "mouth of the big ford") is a small town in County Leitrim, Ireland, 19 km (12 mi) from the border with Northern Ireland. It is located on the R202 regional road where it is joined by the R199 and R204. Béal an Átha Móir means "mouth of the big ford", and the town is so named because it was the main crossing point of the Yellow River, which flows past the town. This waterway become known as the Ballinamore-Ballyconnell canal, built to link the Rivers Erne and Shannon in the 1840s. It reopened as the Shannon–Erne Waterway in 1994.

I've never actually been inside the Commercial Hotel before for a bite to eat or a drink, me and my family have visited the nightclub they have situated within the hotel grounds called, 'Freddies'. I've enjoyed many great nights out at the club, but it's mainly for the 'younger' people now (i'm only 25 like). Even though the club was busy at times, we were always served quickly by the staff.
Review for August 2013.

Drumcoura City is a 50 acre Western Themed Ranch with a Saloon Bar, complete with swing doors, cocktails, live music and a Bourbon Bar. It has a restaurant (due to launch March 18th) that specializes in slow cooked BBQ meats with an authentic Southern American taste. The venue also boasts impressive western horse riding facilities with over 30 stables, the largest covered arena in the county, two outdoor arenas and horse riding trails. Whether you are a novice rider or more advanced, we have a Cowboy that can put you in the saddle. There is also an archery range, an outdoor tennis court and a jetty for fishing on Drumcoura Lake. We offer a range of accommodation options with luxurious chalets, camping and campervan parking. We can cater for large and small groups, corporates, stags, hens, birthday parties or that special weekend getaway for two.
I booked 2 cabins (owned by different people) for our family to celebrate my husband’s 73rd birthday.
Cabin no. 20 had a few issues which were sorted out immediately. Cabin no. 23, however, which cost €200 MORE! had loads of issues, only one of which was resolved. The owner just didn’t seem in the least bit interested.
We dined out in the on site restaurant and had a lovely meal in a fantastic environment.
Later in the week Ron gave our 5 grandchildren a really enjoyable, and informative riding lesson.
We had a great week, only marred by sub standard accommodation.

Restaurant and Pub
We were adviced in the local B&B to have dinner in this local pub... We were with low expectations being spanish and used to have other kind of food. We asked vegetable paninni, big, crunchy and full of flavour. Really nice for being a Sandwich and good price/quality relation.
I asked for lamb that was as smooth as butter, really delicious accompanied by smash potatoes and sweet turnip. Really good in a country full of lambs and beef....
To improve the Ceasar Salad. Was fine but nothing different found in different places.
The service was really helpful and nice. Even we have a small chat with the people in the pub,
Warm atmosphere in quiet dinner with family. If you in the area is worth to have lunch dinner there. A place where you pay for something and do not feel being mugged.

We visited Nina's recently after Reading the reviews here on TA. The decor is fresh and clean with a lovely friendly welcome and service.
We ordered the Nina's special pizza and chips. The pizza was really very good and well topped. Chips were nice too. Can't comment on anything else on their menu yet but will call again to sample.
The prices here are very reasonable for the quality of the pizza.
