Party of 4, We ordered appetizers and entrées. Terrible food service was odd. The waitress said she was a picky eater and didnât have any experience with anything on the menu. Appetizers were previously frozen and the entrées were even worse. Do not ever order a poor boy here, especially roast beef are the hamburgers are charcoal. Too bad, because the ambience good and the family activities outside are very nice. The bar is worthwhile as well.

Fabulous redfish which was prepared the way I like it (grilled rather than blackened) and served with the best sweet potato fries I have ever eaten. A nice bottle of wine and then very yummy bread pudding. Overall a very casual and friendly environment with super well prepared and served fresh food. Simply superb!

Stopped there during long layover in NOLA. Arrived around brunch time so went with BBQ Shrimp Omelet. Easily best thing I've had at an airport. As someone else mentioned, my expectations for airport food are very low so I didn't even take picture before digging in. Really good. We also ordered Shrimp & Grits. Also good. A little pricey but airport food is always overpriced. Oh, and make sure you order some French bread!

It was terrific! The prices were in line with other places, but the food at this rather nondescript-looking place was great. Well seasoned fried seafood platters, with corn balls, okra, shrimp, catfish, oysters, stuffed crab (my friends had the soft-shell crab) and potatoes (they had fried & I had baked). Large portions, home-made tartar sauce, free dinner salad (with egg). All good, and highly recommended!

Three of us dined at this local restaurant today, and it was a good experience. We were there at about 1 am and the place was crowded with locals - always a good sign.Between us, we had the chicken breast and swiss cheese sandwich the club sandwich, and red beans and rice.YOu place you order at a counter, and food is delivered to your table. Service was friendly, and our food was brought to us fairly quickly, despite how busy they were.Highly recommended.

This is the little restaurant that no one know is there. It is a road house with good food, portions, service, and price. Specialties include local produce, hamburgers, and bbq. Watch out for the specials as they can be almost double the cost of some of the entrees. Good brisket and bbq chicken (special) are accompanied by great mac and cheese. Recently deleted item was poutine. Much missed.Desserts are usually made in house, and quite good.This would be a great place if you are early for a flight, and have a car. About 15 minutes from the airport if you drive like my grandmother.
