We arrived excited after viewing this âAll American Sports Barâ online. Sitting down to a greasy unclean table, we soon realised our stay would be brief. Tables around us were unclean, food from previous lunch goers still sitting there with no staff insight to clear them. Under our table, which was greasy and sticky there was also food, not to mention the disgusting state of the serviette dispenser. EVERYTHING really needed a good wipe down. The restaurant also had a stale odour. Waitress approached and was friendly, but we really couldnât stay. If the dining room looks like this, I canât imagine what the kitchen would be like. Maybe the dollars spent sign writing your shiny company vehicle parked out the front would be better spent ensuring your restaurant is clean and inviting for your diners. Clean up your act Sidelines.

We were in the area looking for lunch and found Aquafire Bar and Grill. There is a view over a creek which would be very nice in summer, but a bit windy today to sit outside. The menu had a lot of snack type meals and pizzas so not a huge range of restaurant style mains, but still enough to find something appealing. We had looked at the online menu and there was a much larger choice available there so maybe the lunch menu is reduced? My partner had the steak and mushroom pie which was hearty and tasty. I had the barramundi on celeriac mash and the fish was beautifully cooked. Not a huge meal which was fine but may require a side serve of something if you have a big appetite.

Top service and excellent food in a relaxed and casual environment. Refurbished in the past few years and rebranded, The Sunken Monkey has kept it simple with their excellent experienced front of house staff who do a great job, and simple menu options. Highly recommend for couples, families or groups!

Mid-week lunch at the Tavern with four other friends.Large venue, plenty of options in regard to seating.A pleasant warm afternoon so we chose to sit outside.The menu consisted of a wide choice of dishes, reasonable pricing, a number of daily blackboard specials ($15 per meal).A variety of meals ordered, no-one was disappointed with their serving.Wine, beer, other liquid refreshments all as per what one would expect in such an establishment.Service was more than acceptable.Overall, an enjoyable afternoon. Good food, great weather, shared with special friends.Will return.

Visited this place with friends for a âXmas in Julyâ lunch. The decor was very pleasant having been spruced up since my last visit.The service was very friendly, the entree of Smoked salmon, crab and egg rolls was excellent, the main course, turkey and ham was OK but the veg, green beans and sugar peas were hardly cooked. The dessert, pavlova and ice cream consisted of a small circle of hard meringue with the ice cream.All in all, not bad but nothing to rave about.
