This place is out of the way if you are visiting Belfast but we went there for breakfast this morning. It was inexpensive, the food was good and the service was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive and you can't beat french toast, omelet with homefries and toast plus coffee and tea for $12! It doesn't really have atmosphere. Looks like it might have been a VFW like hall in a past life but it is a good place for breakfast and looks like it might be fun for drinks and entertainment at night.

Previously The Waterfront Pub
Heading to Bar Harbor from Portland Airport, we needed a stop to eat. We stumbled upon this place near the shoreline. Clearly a popular local hangout, we thought it must be worthwhile. There is an outside deck in font of the entrance. The interior is for both the pub and Harborwalk Restaurant. The staff was friendly and helpful, even giving pointers to places we might want to visit while in the area. We settled on Crab cakes, a cup (bowl) of chowder, and the Haddock fish'n'chips. The portions were big. The crab cakes had a chipotle sauce on the side which was great. The chips (fries) were a bit saltier than I liked. Overall, we really enjoyed the meal. So much so, we stopped there again on the way back through town. Haddock fish'n'chips again and a great burger - Front Street Burger. Also we discovered a local Maine cider that we wish we could get at home. Around the corner is an ice cream shop with fresh-made goodies. We took time to walk around the small town shopping district and the waterfront park. A worthwhile stop to make when passing through!

They close at 7 PM. We arrived at 6.55 and were welcomed in, but after 10 min. they started to clean up around us. The food was belowe avarages, don´t get the lobster, they only use claw meat and scrimp. The salmon was overcooked and really dry.

Rollie's Bar and Grill Your kind of place on a Good day, Bad day, and everyday between.See you there.
We went on a Wednesday night around 8 pm. The place was really busy, but we were able to seat ourselves at a booth in the bar area. Just a note of caution about the booths, they are hard as sitting on a rock, so a table with chairs might be a better choice. The weather has been hot in Belfast, so the area we were in was not that comfortable. But, there are some tables in what looks to be an addition to the building in the rear that was very comfortable, but all tables taken when we came in. I ordered a Manhattan from Katie, our server, that was well put together. My wife ordered the "special" prime rib sandwich for $15.98. And I ordered the Reuben. The prime rib sandwich came out with no au jus sauce. Our server said the batch had come out tasting not right. So, she brought out a bowl of like chicken gravy instead after we asked for something! The meat in the sandwich was like shoe sole leather. She ate about 1/2 of of a half of the sandwich and gave up. My Reuben was good, but a little on the dry side. The onions rings were not great. When it came time for the bill, we told our server that the prime rib sandwich was unacceptable (as she could clearly see with 3/4 of it still on the plate) and needed to be taken off the bill. A credit of $11.59 was given for the bad sandwich. Not sure how they came to that amount, but better than a sharp stick in the eye. I'm thinking stick to burgers and wings at this place.

Steaks, seafood and kicked up comfort food on Belfast Harbor. Sit outside on our deck steps from the harbor in season or inside in our cozy dining room year round. Open for lunch and dinner every day. Daily specials, local seafood and produce, local beer
This is a friendly, comfortable spot with excellent views of the harbor. The food was good, but not spectacular. We had their lobster Mac & cheese and seafood pie. We also shared a Caesar salad which was both large and good. This is a good spot for a casual dinner with a view.

Traveling by boat, stopped today in Belfast. Very nice town, we have visited before. Today we had lunch at DARBYâs. Friendly and attentive service, including one younger gentleman who was very helpful. Lunch was two diff lobster rolls, one butter and one mayo style, a Budda bowl, and turkey melt. Nice menu. Good fries. I still cannot decide which style I prefer for lobster rolls... will continue my research. We all were very happy. Bonus was a VERY nice key lime pie. Good local draft list.
