We had a very nice breakfast with excellent service here, while passing through (staying in the city only overnight). The place is in the narrow little streets of the old town. Service is friendly, and relatively fast (there were quite a few guests when we visited). You have a really huge selection of food and beverages to chose from if you are to have breakfast here. What I admired most, is that the place is visible a favourite of the locals: several people came in for a breakfast, a coffee or just to meet up with friends, reading large paper (!) newspapers, chatting with others and laying back to enjoy a rainy morning. You get a real feeling of the countryside Italy here!

We found this bar by chance as we wandered around the pretty old town, seeking lunch. It is small and delightful in all respects. We ordered the local Bordalino Superiore red wine which was superb and came with nuts, crisps, olives and tiny salami sandwiches. A great start! The really friendly and smily waitress then brought our salads, which we found just perfect. The bill was low and the quality and satisfaction extremely high. Go there!

Went here the other evening to celebrate my friend Debbie's birthday. It is located on the main road of Bardolino (Gardesana) and have parking (very important during the summer season in Bardolino)The restaurant is very nice, luminous and bright. I loved the lounge music, not to high. We drank Lugana Otella and eat pizza (women tend to mix tastes!! :D). The pizza is excellent and does not "remain on your stomach" (as we say in Italy) during the night. Also very important, it doesn't leave you thirsty (another negative thing about some pizzas).Service very good, no fuss, but with much attention.Try the Petali dessert...a small chocolate cake, reminding in someway the famous Sette Veli from Palermo. Simply fantastic!!Rest rooms downstairs, very clean and spacious !!

I'm an English tourist and I found this small bar in a street while walking in the centre of Bardolino. It was love at the first sight!! Excellent food, lovely piadinas with the typical Italian ingredients...And you can choose them on your own! The owner is very young but a real expert in the sector, I spoke with him a lot and I realised he's also nice and intelligent. His favourite football team is Chievo Verona. Let's support the young enterpreneurs of the East Coast! Make Bardolino great again!

First visit to cafe restaurant Alla Vecchia Osteria was mid morning warm welcoming and good value for money. Inside is small with few chairs. The small wooden posters of whisky distilleries in Longmorn and Keith in Morayshire Scotland reminded me of being proud to be a Scottish Glaswegian I visited earlier two days later and couldn't get a seat Says it all. !
