I thought I had walked into the set of the old TV show 'Cheers'!! There was the postal worker at the bar with a cast of other friendly characters, talking and laughing with each other. A steady stream of young girls in school uniforms paraded through to check in with mothers or fathers and some were picking up takeout food. The resturant had about 15 tables plus the bar and there was a nice buzz of conversation. We ordered at the counter and sat down and the food was brought to us piping hot. The shrimp sautéed with pepper and onion was ample and delicious. The fish bits and fries were very good with a wonderful spicy bite to the fish. Throw in a pleasant waitress, a couple of beers, toss with some local colorful characters and you have a great afternoon. Neither particular English, nor Rosey it's a fun place for a meal....wonder where the name came from?

This place iis on the Island Harbor Beach in Anguilla, You can swim or take a boat to Sicily Island which is close by. I am sure that it is listed . It is very relaxing and the owners aare awesome and amazing.
During our first visit to Pelican bar in 2014, we only had drinks but really enjoyed the ambiance as the owner and many of the patrons are quite friendly and talkative. this year we had lunch and drinks. Our lunch was a burger plate and a trigger fish meal. The trigger fish meal was very tasty! Prices were quite reasonable and we will be back to watch the sunset from here during our next visit
An intimate hideaway on Barnes Bay, Half Shell Beach Bar offers a light menu of salads and wraps that are perfect to enjoy while relaxing on the beach with a frozen cocktail or ice-cold beer. The Half Shell is also available for one-of-a-kind private dinn
This is a great location, at the Four Seasons and right on the beach. It isn't very big and while the service was good (compared to the other Four Seasons restaurants surprisingly), the food was quite average. Maybe it's what we ordered or the day of the week, but we never went back. You are much better off walking down Mead's Beach if you are staying at the resort to Straw Hat or Blanchard's Beach Shack. Vastly Superior.

The harbor is filled with boats as people come ashore to the beach front bars. Sandy Ground has a number of resturants and bars but one of the most fun on Sunday afternoon is Johnno's. Terrific live band with an interesting mix of local people and tourist dancing to the Reggie beat on the crowded floor. Good drinks to fuel the dancing and delicious ribs if you get hungry. If you want an authentic taste of what Anguilla has to offer for fun and entertainment, this is the place! Mixed group of people including families, singles, couples...and people who just like music and love to dance.

A new beach bar open on Meads Bay (one of the top ten beaches in the world) a relaxed vibe, a blue rum punch and variety of food ( salads, fries, wings, brucetta & sliders to name a few)
A big thanks to everyone at Waves. We initially had planned to have our small wedding reception at a more âtraditionalâ venue but with several small children in our immediate family it just didnât make sense. We opted for Waves who accommodated all of our needs, even space in their refrigerator for the cake. The choice was perfect, the kids stayed occupied, the adults were able to relax and enjoy the delicious food and tasty drinks while listening to a fantastic band they had arranged for us that night. Those fish bites were unmatched during the remainder of our stay on the island and the rum punch was top notch! Thank you to Olivia and the Waves crew. We will see you again!!

Sandbar is located on the beach in Sandy Ground, one of the most charming fishing villages in the Caribbean and the "sea and sand" theme of the bar envelopes you as you enter. Lots of natural light, unobstructed views of Road Bay with its myriad boats at
We always try to make a SandBar visit when on the island. The food was as good as, or even better, than in the past (although plates are now $10 - $15+) - - we tried 6-8 and enjoyed all of them. Drink prices somewhat reasonable. Great frozen rum punch. Service was terrific. Great location and atmosphere (go at sunset). And the owners are very cordial and friendly.
