Reviews on Portuguese food in Santos, State of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Although it's also the location of the Latin America's largest seaport, Santos isn't just a boring port town. The city of 420,000, just 75 kilometers from São Paulo, features a seven-kilometer stretch of beach divided into just as many social cliques as you'd find on Ipanema. A verdant promenade separates the beach from the seafront condos and hotels, along which families and friends walk, amble, bike, skate, rollerblade, throw frisbees, you name it. Less sandy points of interest include the Museu do Café Brasileiro (Brazilian Coffee Museum), the Aquário Municipal (City Aquarium), the Orquidário Municipal (City Orchid Garden) and the Neo-Gothic Santos Cathedral.

The union, perseverance, dedication and hard work were the ingredients needed to make a simple pub on the Channel 3 corner with Goias Street a reference in Santos, the Bar Goias since 1968 is one of the most traditional bars in town, known for its excelle

Catalina has become a perfect place to me, since I first visited this restaurant a few years ago. Fernando, a great Argentinian fellow, and his wife, take good care of this astonishing environment, with awesome contemporary cuisine and sublime service. Enjoy your dinner on Saturday night when Fernando sings great Argentinian and Italian songs on upper floor with outstanding musicians. A lifetime experience.
