Their prawns are very tasty. We had the lemon butter and peri peri prawns which are highly recommended. The kingklip was abit bland. The chicken was good but spicy. The waitress was friendly, efficient and service was quick. Halaal restaurant with multiple seating options.

This venue was recommended by a friend who lives in this city when we were visiting. On this recommendation we took family there. The place is very basic. The food was acceptable. The place was packed so it is very popular.
We were taken by our Family to this amazing restaurant that provided us with delicious food which we all enjoyed. We ordered two platters, one was. All abroad family platter And a Braai combo. There were seven of us and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The food consisted of lamb chops, t bone steak, grilled chicken, kebab skewerAnd queen prawns, hake and salads. The platters were really delicious. The atmosphere was great and food scrumpious. On our next trip to Durban it's a must visit.

The food is decent and well presented. We ordered chicken/prawn combo, King clip with Chips and Spinach, and Rump steak. The portions were decent and the taste of the food is fine but not extraordinary. Itâs a family type restaurant and the service is good. 3.9/5

Eventually visited here one Saturday night following recommendations from others about experiencing a superb unpretentious meal. That should have been the first warning. Sat on the veranda/patio facing the street. Second mistake as management turn a blind eye to smoking in this area and the table opposite occupied by scruffs chain smoked throughout the evening. On taking it up with the waitron, she said that due to the rain - there was a short downpour not more than 3 minutes - they allowed diners to smoke in the area! And it got worse. Service was slow. Had to ask for the menus, for the drinks order to be taken as well as the food order. The much vaunted Eisbein was overcooked and the portion of the signature Sauerkraut was very small. This place gives unpretentious a bad name. Just plain tacky!

There's nothing grand about the place itself, but the food and service speaks for itself. Mainly a Portuguese theme and very good too. Prawns to start, and very fresh testing, followed by Mozambique Peri Peri Chicken washed down with plenty of Macieira Brandy. We were looked after by the owner, a very nice man and a very good evening! :0)
