Also referred to as Single Level Root bridge or Living Root Bridge. There is an approx 4-5min walk through a village and then some 50 steps down that you need to take - to get to the stream and reach the root bridge. There is a nominal ticket of rs20 or so for adults too. The bridge formed of interwined roots growing across the stream is a sight to look at and you get to walk over it once. They dont allow you to stand on the bridge for long - though u can take pics when u cross to the end. The return is over a manmade bamboo bridge. The place itself is nice - with a nice gushing stream (I guess rain fed, so seasonal variations maybe there) when you can take off shoes and step into as well. Can be covered in 30-40 minutes from car to car if u are in a rush... ! Its anyway very very close to the Mawlynnong (Cleanest village) place. So can be easily clubbed...

This small village has Pucca roads and looks like a lovely garden. Very well maintained. Carry eatables as the only food court in the area is not upto the mark

A magnificent view of the valley from an altitude. Clear blue sky, golden sunshine and greenery all around, what more could one ask for. Since it passes through Air Force head quarters carry your id proof in original.

Nice place for a culture visit in the mawphlang forest area. Go here and also enter some huts you really get to the edge of the valley.
