Before I begin I'd like to say I rarely give negative reviews. I am writing in hopes that someone can bring improvement to what once was a great place to gather with family and friends. We eat here regularly on date night, with our kids, as part of groups for special occasions, etc ...Honestly I would apply for a management position to clean this up if I had the time. ...BP YARMOUTH - PLEASE CLEAN YOUR RESTAURANT! We have seen things beginning to "slide" in the past few months. But there's no reason why after the holidays a restaurant should open and serve guest while it's tables and seats are completely covered with food, food crumbs on floor, crayon marks on tables, side plates with food not completely washed off, pizza holder obviously never wiped down either, and I know you have a pressure issue in the washrooms but mirror and counters have been neglected too. Get buckets with warm water and sanitizer, start in one corner and proceed to all sections. A note for hostess : never ever seat guest before a table has been cleared and (wiped down!) from previous guest. A note for all servers: the banquets against kitchen can hear everything you say! ...We've sadly noticed the friendly familiar faces whom served us for many years are no longer there; you are missed. There is a "laid back" atmosphere, booths or table seating, hot meals all the time , whether at the buffet or off the menu. Fast , courteous, can't say enough about the quality of people staffing this spot, friendly , even when they're swamped.Thank you so much for the great review! I will be sure to print it off an post for our staff to see. They do work very hard to make sure our customers are pleased with their visit to our restaurant. We've been twice - the first time, the person behind the counter couldn't get off the phone, and was telling callers there would be a one hour wait, so we left. The second time, my son and I got the last two pieces of the pre-made slices, which were fine. Would go back again in hopes of a shorter wait time. There are a few great pizza places in Yarmouth, so these folks need to step up their game if they are going to stick around.

I would avoid anything with chicken here, it is not cooked fresh to order, generally par cooked and left warm on top of the pizza oven or elsewhere. Donair here is very good and burgers and seafood generally quite good. Pizza is inconsistent, some times light crispy really nice dough, other times thick and seemingly under cooked dough. Also they do no use actual pepperoni on the pizza, it is salami. Wish they would stick to just the nice crisp light one and use higher quality pizza ingredients. The Lebanese food they offer is good mostly.

The proprietor of the B&B motel, Matthew suggested this restaurant which was in walking distance from where we were staying. We drove in on a motorcycle and did not feel like getting back on the bike. We were not disappointed. We considered the other TripAdvisor high rated restaurant within walking distance meal but opted to stay here once we walked in and saw how nice the atmosphere was and how varied the food menu was. The service was very efficient, much better than any of the places that we have been while we have been touring Canada. They have a lot of Italian food seafood salads and desserts. My husband and I eat fairly simply so we just had a Greek salad and the chicken dish which was delicious. Everything is freshly cooked. Good prices as well. Highly recommend trying this place out. We learned that this is open year-round.
