At Blaze, exceptional quality at freakishly fast speed is what weâre all about. Fresh, made-from-scratch dough. Healthful, artisanal ingredients on the assembly line -- inventive to classic â- you decide. Blazing hot oven + dedicated pizzasmith + 120 seco
This Blaze pizzeria is very popular at noontime since it is located across the street from UC Irvine. Not surprisingly, it was filled with students. I waited in line for about 35 minutes to order a pizza-to-go for lunch. When I finally arrived at the front of the line to place my order, I ordered a regular crust pizza, with classic red sauce and extra mozzarella cheese. The pizza was fast-fired quickly and provided to me with a friendly smile. The counter staff was excellent - thank you to all of them! The crust of the pizza was slightly thicker than its competitors, but well-flavored. There was plenty of mozzarella cheese, much more than I anticipated, so that was a bonus. The classic red sauce was flavorful. The price was also lower than other fast-fired pizzerias in the OC.The pizza was very good (although I prefer a thinner crust - just my personal preference - and not a criticism of Blaze Pizzeria at all). Bottom Line: although I liked the pizza, I am not sure I would be willing to return in the future: it's way too crowded; and it was nearly impossible to find parking for my car.]

Angelina's Pizzeria highlights the Verace Pizza Napoletana ("True Neopolitan Pizza"). Each pizza combines Italian imported ingredients and locally sourced organic Basil, which is baked over an Almond wood fire. Choose from other authentic Italian specialt
We visited Angelinaâs pizzeria located at Los Olivos Marketplace, in Irvine, California. We reached around 8.30 PM on a weekday, but couldnt find a place inside as we did not have a reservation. But we were allowed to sit outside on the patio. Good thing was that the patio was heated and quite comfortable. The menu had an ample variety of pizzas, pastas, and starters. Also there was an ample variety of alcoholic drinks. Inside also there was a full fledged bar. We ordered a salad for starters and pizza margarita and Marinara for mains. Pizzaâs were thin crust and made in a coal fired oven. Truly authentic just as we like them. We topped them with some olive oil and finished them to the hilt. Quality was really good. An excellent place for authentic Italian food.

I have visited this restaurant on several occasions for lunch and dinner. The pastas are excellent, especially the Penne Alla Vodka, Caesar salad is plentiful, and you can't go wrong with the sandwiches for lunch, such as the Chicken Panini. All items I ordere were delicious. Whether you would like a relaxing luxurious meal, or a quick bite to eat before you head to the movies (Luna Rossa is located across the AMC movie theater at The Distrcit), make sure you give Luna Rossa a try. It will be your new place to eat the The District!

We happened to pop in on a trip from Canada to Anaheim as we were visiting Irvine Spectrum. We are complete food snobs and frequent travellers. This was in my top 3 places for pizza if not my favorite i have had in the world. You can create your own and everything is done over a wood fire. For under $9 u can have a pizza to feed 4 with unlimited toppings. This place is not to be missed. Its truly amazing and the staff were sensational and phenomenal. It will be a forever stop in my travels. Thanks.

Service was slow and inattentive. Dirty dishes from our appetizer remained on the table until our main courses were served. Our meals were not brought to the table together. Mine sat getting cold while I waited for the remaining 3 meals to be served. The food: - Grilled Artichoke â 3 small halves covered with a lot of tasty toppings- Roasted Salmon â ok - Bolognese â Good. If you want a little extra cheese on top it is served in a bowl â is it freshly grated? - Budino, Bombolini â Both were good. Bombolini were very fresh.
