We had a midday snack from Socrates Bakery. Socrates Bakery is a vintage bakery. It is a homegrown concept. The chef uses fresh ingredients and the pastries are âªfreshly baked everyday. The bakery serves rustic Middle Eastern (mainly Lebanese and Armenian) pastries and Italian pizzas. By the way, Rustic definition is relating to, or living in the country, as distinguished from towns or cities. I have had their flavorful pastries previously. I love the pastries, although I am not a great consumer of bread or pasties. The pastries and pizzas are soft, well baked, tasty and light. I always choose the multi grain dough. Veggie feta is a must try in every visit to the bakery. It is multi grain dough filled with diced Greek feta cheese, fresh mint leaves, olive oil, tomatoes and black olive paste. Veggie feta is my favorite; it is tasty, light and great for a quick bite. Margarita comes in medium size, it is well baked and light, although it needs a little flavor such as chilies to take it further. SEE photos for food.

Take-away many times from Fahaheel Papa john's. Great tasting freshly baked pizzas. Not too pricey. Bread-sticks really taste delicious. Special sauces given with the pizza add to the taste. Should be eaten hot straight our from the oven, really feels great

The service here ruins everything good about this restaurant.The food is acceptable... not bad, but the service is horrible. They need to make major improvements if they want to compete with what is out there in the market today!And the prices are high for what you are getting...

Really enjoyed the Frodo pizza, but the Chimney one not so much. To be honest it had very little flavour, it was listed as the "Today's specials", which gets your hopes up, but it was a very very simple pizza. Not bad, just very plain. The staff is nice and helpful, the place has charm.
