Located beneath the Spinnaker Tower at Gunwharf Quays, Zizzi Italian restaurant in Portsmouth is the ideal accompaniment to a day out by the sea. With its fantastic harbour-side views and an exciting Italian menu, you could be fooled into thinking you are

Our 3rd visit in 18 months. As before, a thoroughly enjoyable lunch with superb food and good service.Perfect Minestrone, garlic bread and pizzas. Huge portions, well-cooked, hot and looked great on the plate. My mushroom/onion/peppers pizza was as good as it gets.Friendly efficient service throughout.Comfy seats and spacious.Unless you want a window table, or are a large group, probably no need to book apart from peak evenings. It deserves to be full though. On road parking nearby, level access.Love it.

Bobbyâs is a warm family restaurant run by Carole and Mark Broadbent. Bobbyâs serves a great variety of high quality Italian and modern contemporary food. There is also a selection of Steaks, Fish and Chicken all cooked on the Char-Grill. A great place fo
Just come back from having lunch in this restaurant on Sunday afternoon. It was our first visit to Bobby's but certainly won't be our last.Although it was quiet, it was very welcoming, service was just right and the food and drinks was excellent. All I can say is if like myself, you are one of the locals who walk on by most days enroute to the town centre or Gunwharf Quays, then please don't walk on by, pop in and have some great food drinks and service. Can't really say fairer than that!!

Bringing Authentic Italian Pizza to the heart of Southsea
Lunchtime deal: £6 for a burger, chips and a coke. Sounds pretty good! But wait...Wait while the waitress finishes chatting to the bloke at the bar. But eventually she manages to grab a moment to serve me. Oh, the bloke at the bar might have been the chef...He disappears into the kitchen to heat up a burger that may have been drying out overnight to his perfection, or might have just been waiting under the grill for me to arrive. It eventually appears in front of me on the obligatory artisan slab of slate, with a little mound of lettuce artistically arranged, and a little bucket of tiny pencils. Cool! I look around for a colouring book only to realise that the pencils are in fact fries! Pencils would have been more tasty. I drown my sorrows in the glass of luke warm flat cokey-stuff with a sort of bland flavourlessness that is vaguely reminiscent of the âreal thingâ.But, hey, Circolo Pizzeria is a vibrant funky, independent artisan local business which we all need to support, so I could almost forgive the dessicated food. Almost, but my stomach is less forgiving. Off to the chemist for a funky indigestion remedy.

Very busy, very noisy, if youâre a cheese lover then youâll be catered for in buckets! However if cheese is not for you ,then there may be nothing on the menu for you!Dear Harryfr8850I am very sorry that the restaurant was busy, unfortunately the business would not survive without customers. For future reference these are all of the dishes that do not contain cheese.Meat or vegetable anti pasti boardBread sticks with dipsVine leavesWhitebaitCalamariKing prawns in tomato and basil sauceTomato BrushettaPrawn BruschettaProsciutto BruschettaGreek salad (you could have without the feta and extra hummus)The burgers (have a small amount of parmesan in the patty for flavour)PorchettaHot smoked salmon saladChicken & chorizo saladPrawn saladRoasted vegetable saladGammon saladSpaghetti BolognesePenne arrabiata with chickenPenne arrabiata with prawnsPenne arrabiata with roasted vegetablesMushroom Ravioli (creamy mushroom sauce or sage butter)Spinach & ricotta tortelliniThai Vegan burgerMediterranean vegetable tartAny of the pizzas without cheese (actually really delicious)Garlic breadSeasoned friesSweet potato friesOlivesScallops (when available)Fish of the dayMany thanks for your visit.

I booked this restaurant some months before as it was my 60th Birthday treat. I went with my wife and mother in law as we were visiting Portsmouth. We started with some lovely warm olive oil bread with oil and balsamic which was lovely and set the tastebuds going. I opted for a starter and had the avocado, tomato, mozarella and parma ham which was a lovely combination of ingredients. I had a spaghetti carbonara with a rugola salad. My wife and mother in law had penne with a creamy sauce of chicken and bacon. Absolutely lovely and approved by all. The restaurant was full and we went on a Tuesday evening at 7pm so booking is essential. The service was excellent and the staff were very attentive. the bill was also very reasonable even with a bottle of wine.
