Loud staff discussing personal issues and medical conditions. They kinda winced as they seated me as a solo diner so I didnât feel THAT welcome.Been to loads of Prezzos in past and loved them - not so with this one.Pizza was average bruschetta the same I live locally and honestly wonât be rushing back!The loud staff were the inauspicious cherry on top of a terrible meal.

Ok meal, pizza disappointing, starter of the sausages in rice, nice sauce couldnât find the sausages.Garlic bread quite good. Side salad tasted of kitchen cleaner.Ok but wonât rush back. Is not value for money. Very slow service.

Not our first visit to Alloro as we found this gem earlier in the year. As usual it was welcoming, friendly and unpretensious. The food is great comes hot and fresh, with something for everyone. Pizza and pasta of course, it's Italian. But also braised lamb shank or belly pork etc. We had a Gluten and Dairy free person with us and the staff were knowledgable about their menu and what she could choose. Wine list is also sensible and well priced. We are always surprised when the bill arrives - in a good way! Great value for money.

It was decent enough but not quite as good as we had expected. The menu is very limited, although the food was fine, and the pizza's were a good size although the dough was a bit soft. Unfortunately there were not enough staff on so our starters came at different times.They offer a good selection of beers etc. but all seemed more expensive than other eateries in Baldock.Decent garden for eating outside as the weather was superb.
