Went to Carvoeiro, which is a lovely place to visit, beautiful beach, lots of shops, then you can walk up the steep hill and find a beautiful walk along the boardwalk, stunning views, well worth the climb.

A visit to the port and fish market is well worth a visit. Good local caught fish served upstairs in the Fishermen's restaurant with a jug of local wine goes down a treat. Watch the commercial and local fishing boats come and go and unloading their catch on the quayside.

Faro is a small town all the attractions near each other, this is an entrance into the old town near the sea. Nice for a walk, the only thing I noticed there was a lots of graffiti all over Faro, too bad that people destroy the walls of many historic buildings and landmarks.
