I received a special birthday gift from the family: a photography tour in Bruges, with 2 friends with the same hobby, to choose by myself! All 3 of us thought it was a special evening in Bruges: beautiful views, fairy lighting and the super coach Andy Mac Sweeney to satisfy our hunger for better photos. Andy provided in-depth guidance of the special angles in the medieval center and the canals, shared his many years of experience and took plenty of time to teach us the art of photography. Our 2 hour tour exceeded our expectations in quantity and quality. Also his photographic works are a must to buy. I thank the family, ... and Andy.

A private walking guided tour thought several walls, canals and architecture eras of Bruges. The best way to experience the history of a medieval town is through its architecture. Therefore, the main focus of this tour is architecture ad its details that reflect milestones in the history of Bruges. Jamal will stretch architecture, legends, art, love, and tiny details for you by a monodrama and sarcasm. Jamal will also give you free time after the tour full of recommendations of must-visit-places, and that includes where and what to eat. Last but not least, the architecture of chocolate will also be tasted during the tour. It would be so silly not to enjoy artisan handmade chocolate in the capital of artisan handmade chocolate of the world.

We met up with Ivan at the designated time. Our three hour tour ended up being nearly 4 1/2 hours and Ivan was still prepared to continue (it was us that were tired). His passion for the city and it's history was apparent. Tour went through the usual places but also took to lesser travelled spots to find photo ops and share some history. Ivan also suggested some shot composition ideas that I had missed. Thoroughly enjoyable way to spend our first day in Bruges.
