Charming little Family run bed and breakfast place. Not Everything is perfect, but this is over compensated by the charming warm attitude of the lady who runs the place. There is a sort of living room in the ground floor which is very cozy so that you don’t need to spend the night in a pub or in your room. The location is about 10 to 15 minutes walking From the cathedral.

This is a new boutique hotel with a excellent localization in the old town, only 3 minutes walking to the Cathedral. The rooms have TV, bath, central health and free wi-fi.
We stayed in Denike for three nights. When we arrived from our pilgrimage we found out that our bags had already been carried to our room which was a lovely surprise. Everything was very excellent, service, location, cleanliness, etc. We even got all the best locations in town shown on a map to us by the hotel staff.

Love this place; we were on top floor with loft window that has a view of the Cathedral Spires. Lots of steps up to the room, but all part of the fun and good fitness practice for our Camino! Like most accomodation in the 'old town' you hear the bells chime. Charming central location and lovely hostess who extended special kindness to us by storing one of our bags.

Had brunch and lunch here over two days during our visit and was very pleased on both occasions. Firstly, it is well situated in a pleasant square opposite the Philosophy Faculty of the University. Secondly, the food is very good value and excellent quality and thirdly, the staff are pleasant and welcoming. Finally, there are perks with every meal. Free cake (so light and fluffy) with breakfast and crisp, nuts and pancake with lunch. I highly recommend this cafe for a visit.

There is nothing boutique about this hotel. Very basic - you get a bed, a table and a bathroom. Floor (room on the ground floor) was extremely cold. No fridge, no kettle, no even hairdryer in the room (pro-tip: ask for hairdryer at check-in as reception is not staffed 24/7 and there will be no one there early in the morning). Breakfast options are limited and non-existent on the weekend, though there a few restaurants on the street to have lunch/dinner and a supermarket in the walking distance. You can also walk to the old town in about 30 mins, though this will require some uphill walking. Street parking is free in the area so good option if you have a car. The main concern however is that the walls and doors are paper thin - you can hear every word in the room next door and when there are people walking in the hallway it feels like they are walking right over your head, so be warned if you are a sensitive sleeper.
