If you have time and want to visit Athens (not only Acropolis and museums) go and rent a scooter with Icarus and explore the surroundings : Icarus office is close to the center of the city (metro stop Siggrou Fix, the first one after Akropolis) and it’s very easy to find. The owner Bailos is very kind and will help you to see the right places near the city. In particular Cape Sounion and lake Vouliagmeni. With the scooter you can stop where you like to appreciate the land: it would be impossible if you take the bus from Athens to Cape Sounion. And the price is very convenient.
