If you want to get around the island easily get an ebike. It made the day 100% more enjoyable, especially as we overtook others who were puffing and panting and even just pushing there bikes up the many inclines. The two companies we found doing them were next to each other. We used this company and the bikes did not disappoint. We were given a map and advised which beach to go to. The bikes were in great shape. I would advise going to Pedro Barba beach which was easy to get to and we were the only people there most the day. We went around the north of the island which was much busier as safari jeeps dropped tourists off there for the day but the sea was to rough to swim in at the other beach we found.
