On the island of Skata which lies between Sauøya and Henningsvær is our Restaurant SKATA. Only 900 meters from the city center, we offer excellent food experiences based on local ingredients and local food traditions. The restaurant was rebuilt in the pre

We had a special family dinner at Den Blå Fisk at Henningsvær Bryggehotell as the end to our five days Lofoten trip. The preset menu was very tempting and the tastes were just great. Cod tongues, Whale carpaccio, Halibut with asparagus risotto, Lamb filet from Lofoten and Lemon pie. Excellently composed and prepared. The service was also very good and we enjoyed the whole evening we had at Den Blå Fisk. We sat inside, but right "on" the sea within Henningsvær. An ideal location for a dinner table. A true high class dinner experience in Lofotens "eye" Henningsvær. Highly recommended.

Stayed at their newly opened rooms (Loft) with 2 children. The rooms are nice and big but here are some tips for improvement:Bedlights for allHooks for hanging clothesBathroom matWaste binVentilation in bathroom Also to start serving breakfast at 10 is way too late. It ruined our planning totally. This you need to give better info about and should be clearly stated when booking.Thank you very much for feedback!!I think all your points for flat improvement are very good, and we will try add these within the coming week. We will adjust ventilation (which is there already) :)We understand that breakfast time can be too late for some. This is coordinated with the opening of café/kitchen. Anyway, I agree that this should be clearly communicated, and we have now updated our web-page.

Klatrekafeen (or «climbers café») gives a real Rorbu-feeling and local Lofoten vibe. It offers among other dishes a good burger and a superb chili con carne with enough spice too pleace a robust palate. Even though the burger bread was store-bought and cold, and there was no homemade bread for the chili, the food fits the bill and then some. Good prices, but not the best selection of beer (it is a bar/restaurant after all). The staff appeared there after, and so the customer service is not really a focus. A great place to enjoy an evening snack and a drink among (new) friends.

We had dinner there. All the tables have a nice view on the canal or on the open kitchen. The decoration is very nice. We had fish soups which were very good. The service was quick and efficient. Itâs a good place to eat when staying in Henningsvær.

The food is brilliant, the staff lovely, our first meal here was so off the charts we immediately booked for the next night. The mussels are done with, in part, wisps of seaweed which add salt and a distinctive flavor. The "flat fish" (turbot) special we had one night just melted in your mouth. The lamb (done sous vide) is exquisite. Brilliant young chefs in the kitchen know what they're doing. If you love good food do not miss this lovely restaurant!
