Great food and lots of choices for vegetarians. Generous portions and good flavours. They do takeaway and doggybags as well. And upon arrival you get a little complimentary appetiser. Good value for money. Will recommend this place to anybody who likes Nepalese or Indian food. To me itâs quite similar. Sorry, if Iâm mistaken but I think if you like Indian you will definitely appreciate this too.

I was looking for another Indian restaurant which I found shut and so went back to 8848 as I had passed it on my walk to the other place and was impressed with what I saw. Inside didn't disappoint. Service was from smiley attentive staff. I was on my own and opted only for poppadoms, a king size prawn dish and a garlic naan washed down with Kingfisher. The food was quite superb and exactly what you want of a proper Indian restaurant as opposed to a curry house. The mild sauce on the prawn dish was so tasty done in cream and spices, and the dish came with pilau rice, so that wasn't separate. Given what I've said about the quality it isn't the cheapest Indian restaurant, but in my opinion it was very much value for money.

Fantastic restaurant amazing food and staff that will go above and beyond. Canât recommend this place enough. Hidden gem in Blackburn. Love the interior decor it is so relaxing and staff are attentive and knowledgable. Chicken pakora has a wonderful non spicy sauce that both my kids and husband loved. The chicken bhoona was to die for I had the mango chicken I was nervous about choosing something I didnât know and I was blown away with how good it was. Chicken tikka and kids curry were both demolished. We all left with very full bellyâs and working out the next time we could visit
