A Victorian-style cemetery containing the earthly remains of Vancouver's most prominent families.
Overlooking the ocean, this is a lovely final resting place for many Victorians. It is large and well kept, and an interesting place to think of the past and ones future!

The 1,434-seat Royal Theatre, opened in 1913 as the Victoria Opera House, is a heritage jewel. It is the home of the Victoria Symphony, Pacific Opera Victoria, as well as a diverse selection of locally produced entertainment. The Royal is also known as Victoria's "home of the stars", offering a showcase for performances from some of the world's greatest entertainers in theatre and dance to classical music and rock 'n' roll.
Saw a few shows here, staff is great, seats comfy, good visibility and great sound. Usually free parking on street close by. Lovely decor

Since 1914, the 772-seat McPherson Playhouse has been at the heart of Victoria's community arts scene. Built as part of the Pantages Theatre chain, this historic theatre is host to local companies including Kaleidoscope Theatre, Victoria Operatic Society, and Blue Bridge Repertory Summer Theatre in addition to presenting many professional theatre and concert performances year round. The McPherson lobby is home to The Gallery at the MAC, a showcase for local and regional visual art.

Nicely maintained, easy to get down to. Just park in the lot and walk down. It was nice and cool and shady. There are tons of ferns and lots of tall trees. It smells wonderful and you feel like you’re in the rainforest. We walked all the way and it popped us back out to the parking lot. The way back was a bit of a hike but good exercise nonetheless. Peaceful place

And you thought your mother-in-law was bad: a mysterious old woman has been haunting this stately castle for years.
From the manicured shrubs and beautiful flowers to the impressive design of the castle itself, Hatley Castle is a must see. I especially like the way they sculptured the X-men logo on the property.
