A children’s museum designed to foster creativity, curiosity and learning through imaginative play. Set amidst a scaled-down, indoor “mini-city”, Interaxcity is a place where kids are the community heroes and can choose to take on any role (e.g. chef, construction worker, doctor). Open to the public for a limited number of sessions daily. Bookings recommended
With such a variety of "roles" they could choose to play, my 3 girls had a great time when we came to visit last week. I wasn't sure if my eldest (9yrs) would feel it was too babyish for her, but she enjoyed every aspect of it. The staff were very friendly, and interacted with my eldest in a role, when I was busy being pulled into another area by her sibling! There was a cute little passport which had all the rooms to go through, and a staff member would come around every now and then to stamp them. Time flew and suddenly my girls were rushing around to finish any area they hadn't had a chance to look at in detail. Allow time to park, as most spots nearby are 1hr only, whereas the session you book in for goes for 90mins.
