Reviews on Middle Eastern food in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Spread along both sides of the majestic St. John River, Fredericton combines the coziness of a small town with the world-class institutions of a city much larger than this humble capital. Tree-lined streets and suburban neighborhoods of Victorian-era homes live harmoniously alongside three universities, countless historic sites, museums, riverfront trails and restaurants featuring local and international cuisines. Fredericton also boasts a number of world-renowned festivals.

Went here for date night and had the chicken shawarma platter. It was hot and fresh and tasty. (Just wish there was more garlic sauce included). I enjoyed the salad and rice. The atmosphere was nice and I thought the owner did a good job on the inside decor. There is also a sidewalk patio. I would like to go back and try the platter for 2 to try more things on the menu.Thank you for your comments, we will make sure to give you extra garlic sauce next time your are in. We are glad you enjoyed your experience and we definitely recommend you try the Byblos Mix for 2 as you will be able to try a lot of the menu items. Looking forward to your next visit :)

Sphinx Restaurant is a local restaurant Mediterranean delights from Egypt, Libya, Lebanon, Italy, and Syria. The restaurant also features foods from around the world, Come and enjoy an exotic dining experience with Pharaonic decor, Arabian music and delic
Stopped at Sphinx on our way to the Bay of Fundy. Had to eat quickly because of the schedule and the restaurant was very accommodating to our needs. Service was excellent! Lentil soup and shawarma was amazing. Samosas were unexpected with feta and olives, but very tasty! It was so good we planned our return from Cape Breton so we could stop again for lunch and enjoy our meal.

The Cinnamon Cafe is a restaurant that was created for one purpose, to be the first restaurant in fredericton to provide a wide range of exclusively vegan and vegetarian apps, entree's and desserts from falafel wraps to vegan burgers to coconut cream pies
6 of us went to Fredericton and were looking for a place to eat. 2 were sure they did not want vegan. We ended up at the Cinnamon Cafe to find a full vegan and or gluten free menu. One woman said she will now be looking for vegan restaurants at home and the other was totally impressed too. No one was disappointed. Food was incredible, generous portions and even their coffee was good. Very reasonably priced!
